My master, is the number written on the hdmi chip we removed important? There is a chip that I removed from a different ps3 motherboard.Can we use that chip? Sir, i seem to have the exact same problem,once i connected my ps3 to a crt tv via an hdmi to av converter, after this my ps3 was never able to output 1080p through hdmi , even after i installed a new firmware .Then after few months my ps3 stuck on green light ,no audio no video.Do you think this is caused by HDMI decodrer chip and the HDMI to AV converter damaged the hdmi decoder chip?

This error tends to cause a delayed Yellow Light Of Death (10s - 1min). Sometimes described as a Green Light Of Death (GLOD) or Red Light Of Death (RLOD).
2124 and 2024 errors have been fixed by replacing both the AV and HDMI encoders. One user reported 2024/2124 errors resolved by replacing the HDMI encoder. Another removed the HDMI encoder and tested the console without it. That console primarily filled the errorlog with 2124 errors, but a few 2024's as well. So it is unclear if 2124 is specific to the HDMI Encoder or AV Encoder. It seems it could be either.

Gabriel Jack: check for HDMI output filter coils. All should be of 1.2 OHM.
May be the GPU.

@@idreestech there are 3 Beeps totally, green for 2 seconds, yellow(3 beeps)and blinking red.
It is an earlier model of PS and It has many faults due to heat given by a heat gun.
