    I don’t drink I smoke instead, I do it by myself too. I’m a legal adult. I have a job, I pay my bills, I want to get high and go on a fun journey on CZcams. Kpop and bl’s are my home base. I’m high and happy, I don’t care what people think. It’s better than drinking

    Lost me at “we’re expected to drink a lot”.
    If you’re succumbing to peer pressure at 40 years old God help your children.

    My husband was a gray area drinker which eventually turned into alcoholism. He is now over 2years sober. Before you know it you have hit that slippery slope.

    Of course they make this segment all about women and dont mention men

      Perhaps you missed the part where men’s drinking went up 75% and women with children went up 300%

    We get little elderly in ED who don’t drink but have night caps. Or just sip into the evenings . But they fall out of bed and have these bruises… I knew not to start and that it was easy to have a glass w dinner every night and to try and finish a bottle . As a nurse during pandemic I completely stopped any drink. I want my lungs and body to be tip top shape to fight the virus.

    • @markkinkle7038

      The variable of gender is important, as women during COVID-19 were EXPECTED to maintain households while their spouses kept working. Men are expected to drink as well, but I hear your point.

      @@markkinkle7038 first, half the women with kids are single mothers. And being expected to hold a household has nothing to do with “being expected to drink a lot”! Please do not defend them!

    Alcohol destroys physiological problems and one of those problems i learned is to believe you drink to much when you're actually not drinking enough. Once a week should be normal but more then that depends on the liver. 52 times a year is once a week and should be considered healthy. Myself im at about 16 times a year but i really can't handle drinking that much

    • @felixthecat2786
      @felixthecat2786 Před rokem +1

      The alcohol is just a symptom of a larger problem. I see a lot of people who appear to be very isolated. I think our society has become so isolationist today and this is exacerbated by car reliant suburbs.
