How often do you use macro recorders vs coding yourself????
I always code by myself, unless I am watching one of you’re videos with macros, then I use pulovers.
I certainly don't claim to be a coder, but I don't hesitate to modify existing codes to achieve my goals.
I therefore use the available aids when it comes to automating redundant and boring tasks.
I use AHK's documentation more often than Pulover's Macro Recorder, which I use more to test portions of my scripts.
can you help me to code mine im playing games i dont know if you can make for this because every second picture is changing color carrieverse game
I've always used the VBA macro recorder in Excel to jump-start my macro creation. It would be daft not to, really. Saves me days of coding. As far as AHK, it's always been manual for me, but that's mainly because there's never been a 'proper' or official recorder, and I've been using AHK since around 2006. Used AutoIT before that.
@@em7dim9 what are your thoughts on pulover macro recorder? not official but may as well be.
Hello, do you know if there is any way to lower the default delay for commands in pulover?? I tried multiple ones and they are all set at 1000ms and no way to change that. That greatly slows down my code
Hi, i have a question in regards to image to text recognition. I use the Pulover to recognise text in an image and then press a corresponding key. Problem with Pulover, or so i have noticed, is that it runs into problems, when the text constantly changes font or colour. I was wondering, whether there is a way around this problem (sometimes it works, sometimes it does not and i need consistency) or maybe a different program entirely? Thanks
Are you using ocr? If so ya ocr can have issues with some types of fonts and really nothing you can do

It's strange to see that the developers of AutoHotkey, instead of making the coding more simplified, have made it more complicated with extra characters and so on 🤔
I agree 100% i do my videos now in v1 and v2 but I like to code v1 more as I feel like the whole point of AHK was to be super simple.
@@TABNationAutomation I don't even have V2, I only have V1, So I have no idea how bad V2 is.
Been looking aground the interweb trying to find tutorials on this as I would like to automate checklist creation inside Autodesk using data from Excel files... where's the best place to really get into this Macro creator?
As of now this seems to be the only video on v2 for this. I have a few v1 videos which will still teach how to use it

@@nssdesigns you need to use com's for excel to get data which you are better off coding yourself vs a macro record as this tend to make sloppy code.
i've a macro created some months ago, now i've opened it and i can't edit the coordinates... do you know why?
I would just delete that command and re add it

@@Tottorul I have a few pulover videos. even if it was done in v1 it will work the same way in the app for v2

Image search is for clicking not taking screenshots it finds the image you saved and clicks where it finds it.
@@TABNationAutomation Thank you for the reply, sorry for my bad english but that was not what I meant, lets just use different case because I think it has correlation, so when I tried to pick a coordinate for mouse to move, usually the hotkey is Rmouse (right click), but when I click it, it didnt record the point/coordinate but it click the game, maybe something wrong with my laptop or some game not support pullover?

and you seem like you could spot it in 4 seconds...
Pixelsearch is either freezing ahk or doing nothing...
I've tried with and without spaces...
I've copied EXACT scripts I've seen work and they do nothing or freeze...

pixel search uses a lot of power. seems you have this searching the whole screen or an older PC maybe. search only a smaller area. also your variation is only set to one you may want to raise that number.

Go figure, 99% of the interest in AHK seems to be from people trying to automate keypresses in games. Better than nothing, I suppose.
@@em7dim9 indeed. And I love this subject as you got three sides to it really. I think this would be a great post in my community tab. I'll post later today and credit you. I think this is one of the greatest debates when it comes to Autohotkey.
