This is a tutorial on how to play the Mortal Kombat X character Sub Zero. I go over his play style, normals, special moves, and combos.
Input notation:
1= Square(ps4)/X(Xbox)
2=Triangle(ps4)/Y(Xbox)
3=X(ps4)/A(Xbox)
4=Circle(ps4)/B(Xbox)
MB=Meter Burn (Enhanced Special Move)
XX= Cancel
B=Back
F=Forward
D=Down

Im a noob when it comes to fighting games, this tutorial was awesome. Good job dude.
i wanna add something for those trying unbreakable sub. When frozen aura is up your slide will freeze te opponent while on the air. So i came up with a combo that activates frozen aura and uses this ability in the same string.
start with b12-qcb3(activates frozen aura)- 123- bf2xx(EN.slide). At this point you lose the aura, but actvate it right there and finish with an uppercut.
I found it very hard to pull off in a real match, but it actually uses the variations abilities, and that feels so rewarding :D
when ever you get the time could you please try to make a ermac guide? you're the only person ive found on CZcams thats actually helped me with the game

NRS nerfed Cryomancer’s Cold Blooded string and now it’s the same as Sub-Zero’s other variations. You must do the Polar Puncture special, which is DBF3, does 5% damage and can miss with the F42. This is old but I recently got the game and just found this out
in the corner you can f122, 242, 421+3 for 33% :) no meter with cryo style
mrozzdude I use b2 242 f333 db2 in the corner it's easy to get down with a decent amount of damage

basically 1 is front punch, 2 is back punch, 3 is front kick and 4 is back kick

Christ when the hell did MK go into geometry and algebra, I remember MK4 and not being able to do combos because of the confusing N64 layout smh

if your trying to beat the best Id say Grand Master. If you wanna have fun and have good matches against normal good solid okayers, cryomancer.

I'm pretty sure Ice aura is the meter burned (enhanced) version of frozen aura

Death For Whenever I try to conect any of the easy combos, the hit counter doesn't count it, specially when i try to do an snow ball after that. what am i doing wrong????
