Its impressive how far Quan Guan has come with their own designs but their inconsistent brick quality is rather unfortunate.

Despite the poor brick quality still a nice compact display mode. TBF I couldn't get the treads to roll either on Cobi's second release of the kettenkrad model. Smaller models just don't seem to be all that functional. Still displays great though.
This must be the only "compatible with other brands of construction bricks" brands where the bricks don't seem to be compatible even with itself.
If only COBI came out with something like this….
Having watched your vid was dreading building mine, but fortunately mine wasn’t nearly as bad brick quality as yours - yes not as good as Cobi or LEGO or even other QG models I own, but then mine only costs me £9.60 delivered so well worth the money to add to my static display…i actually found it easier to build the canopy assembly first and then add it to the truck. As always great and informative video.
holy crap! respect for pulling through and finishing this set. to be perfectly honest i had trashed it after a few minutes... this one looks as much fun as stepping on rusty nails D:
Egh. As someone who regularly reviews things like this for a certain site ... I hate when the *DESIGN* of a set is really good, but the parts quality makes it a misery. At least the gun seemed to be fairly stable?
Also, as a question (as I am considering doing some video work for some of these reviews) ... is your camera angle from basically 'over the left shoulder'?

Oha, mein RSO kommt nächste Woche. Habe mich eigentlich gefreut. Der alte quan guan RSO war stabil und gut. Es ist echt schade das gute Designs durch die z. T. beschissene Steine kaputt gemacht werden.
I must have been lucky with mine went together pretty much ok(except for the tracks and the tarpaulin more trouble than they were worth).for a cheap kit i found it ok

Servus @BrickMeet 😊. Ich hatte mich so auf den RSO gefreut und als ich ihn dann baute, kostete es mir den letzten Nerv. Ich kann das im Video nochmal fühlen 🙈. Habe vor kurzem den neuen Tiger von Quan Guan gebaut und der war auch nicht prickelnd. Aussehen und Ketten des Tigers sind klasse, aber das Bauerlebnis... Eieiei 🙈... Für mich gilt seitdem: Quan Guan, ich bin bei euren Sets vorerst raus, bis es neue, passgenaue Teile, oder neue Werkzeuge gibt! Schade... P. S. Ist dir aufgefallen, dass auf dem Türaufdruck 37t Leergewicht steht? 🤔 😂... Da fehlt sicherlich ein Komma 😊
Aah I had a similarly frustrating experience with the Sluban BMP2 tracks. Every way just kept failing or breaking. Will we see a review for the Cobi Jagdtiger?

One would think that with a smaller scale the margin of error lowers but sadly not on this kit. The flatbed cover is a unique design I think but with the bad tracks and connections its sadly no bueno... Good showcase though, even this model got a magic track assembly

Simple solution is to use liquid poly cement on the loose, if not all the parts .

Yes and many quanguan sets are the same as cobi sets like their kv1 looks just like the old cobi kv1

@@user-fb7ws4hb7c I’ve bought them all, sluban, Quan guan, xingbao, Lepin, panlos, wange, gobricks and random brick manufacturers. And the brick quality ranges from rubbish to inconsistent at best. Tiles are always heavily scratched, same with large blocks and inconsistent clamping ability. If you want good WWII sets, get Cobi. If you want good modern sets, build it out of Lego. It’s not worth having Chinese rubbish in your collection.
