Great video. Very well explained and quite calming to listen to. Thankyou.
Hello, first of all, thank you very much for your sharing. It guides me in realizing my hobby. Could you please shoot a technical video on which product should I use which thickness of leather and when should I use lining? I would be glad if he reads video content such as how many mm the thickness of the products should be in general. Exhibitions from Turkey.
Love the two tone one!! Thank you Jo!!
Yeah it turned out well that one it was my test to make sure I had the patterns correct 👍
Great video Jo, some great techniques and tips. I am going to have a go at this one.
It's a great little project to make 👍
thank you. these day, there are usually video with no sound explanation. they only use background music. it is very difficult to understand what they are doing because they don't explain anything. your video was by far the most helpful.
Nice tutorial, beautiful work.
Thank you 👍
Really impressive work Jo, well done!
Thanks will 👍
Hi, what a great video, awesome work. Cheers!!!
Thank you 🙂
Jo, your work is beautiful and inspiring. I can't wait to start crafting.
This is a brand new hobby for me. I've always worked with wood a lot so I'm looking for something new. You have inspired me Jo to do this so I've ordered my starter pack.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Excelente saludos👍👍👍
Hi! Love your video. is there a list somewhere of where you get all your tools?
Yeah you prefer half the hide or the whole hide extra jackd, for the shine.
👍👍👍👍
very nice....you
👋 J, can I know what glue you used on this video?
😍🐕
Your work is perfect and wonderful. Thank you for the ideas. I have a question, please - Where can I get this tool? Where can I find it (bearing in mind that I live in Algeria! North Africa)
What's the reinforcement product you used? I try to get the reference across the pond
hello, congratulations on your work, you are very good. I wanted to know the edge press is 1.1.5 or 2 mm. Thank you
It's 1.5mm 👍
@@JHLeather thank you so much!!
I love your videos, a lot. Are these paterns posible to sew with a sewing machine? Cheers
Heya, yes you should be able to machine this 👍
Great video! Would you be willing to tell us where to get the reinforcement material? I tried looking up 'self adhesive liner' and found a large variety of felt and velvet liners, but nothing that looked like the black fabric you're using.
Love your videos!!! Please provide me the name and source for your leather reinforcement material. Thank you!!
All the information you need is in the information pack that comes with the patterns
That looks like a new Creaser, Jo. Where did you get it?
It's from Abbey England, thought I'd try one out, it's really handy for fine things like wallets 👍
😘🌹
I like the colour, the design, but why do you use reinforcement when actually the skiving was more difficult with it. You had improved so much and this was sleek and nice to watch. By the way, New knife?
Because the leather is very thin its needs to be reinforced for longevity. Although it makes the Skiving a bit tricky is not really an big issue. I've had both knives a while but depending on what I am making will depend on if I use them 👍
@@JHLeather Thanks, I thought about that reason, I'm just too perfectionists I have to work on that :)
Did you heat the 1.5 creaser at all?
Hello, yes the crease is heated, I have a hot plate off camera that I use 👍
erm... why do you skive it if youre not folding the edges? if youre edge painting why do skive and reduce material? and why do you need leather reinforcement for such thick leather? i would understand if it was under 0.8mm but that looks like its 1.2mm(cow)
Hi, may i know what is the type of glue suitable for leather or faux leather?
I use the ecostick glues 👍
