Plan it! Even if it’s two years out. The flights were the most expensive but if you really hunt one ways with even different airlines you can find deals. Make sure you go during the NON rainy season!

Hi!! In Waikiki we stayed at The Hilton Modern. It was fabulous! If we return to Oahu, we will definitely stay the entire time up in the north shore and probably find a VRBO. Waikiki was nice, but the whole Honolulu area is very much like Orlando where we live and tourist town. Seen it once and don’t need to do it again. North Shore is local and absolutely beautiful and some of my favorite things we did were up there. But while we were there this time we stayed at the Courtyard North Shore. There are not a lot of hotel choices up that way, but it was nice and served its purpose. Definitely not as big of a room as our first hotel. Our next Hawaii trip will be to Kauai to the birthplace of LILO & Stitch!
