Marvel at the exquisite beauty of Wat Chalong, a revered Buddhist temple known for its stunning architecture and serene atmosphere. Take a journey back in time as you explore Phuket Old Town, with its charming Sino-Portuguese buildings, quaint cafes, and vibrant street art.
The enchanting city of Chiang Mai awaits, beckoning you with its awe-inspiring temples, vibrant markets, and enchanting cultural experiences. We stay in the historic Chiang Mai Old Town, where ancient temples stand as testament to the city's rich heritage. Immerse ourselves in the vibrant colors and flavors of the Sunday Night Market, where local artisans showcase their crafts and tantalizing street food tempts your taste buds.
Our final stop takes us to the stunning island of Koh Samui, a tropical paradise that epitomizes serenity. Pay a visit to the iconic Big Buddha, a towering golden statue that overlooks the island and offers breathtaking panoramic views. Wander through the lively Fisherman's Village Night Market. Sink your toes into the soft sands of Lamai Beach, soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquil beach atmosphere.

What tips are you taking with you on your trip to Thailand? Please share if you have any tips yourself. We’re curious!
Great video! When you rented the car, was a baby chair included? How did you deal with cars and taxis in Bangkok? I am travelling with my 16 months toddler and I have maaany doubts! Thanks!
@@Landeater Thanks!! We can understand the doubts. A car seat is not always included with the car. If you go on the car rental websites, you'll get the option. That's how you can make sure you have one. Also, make sure to check if it's for the correct weight of your child. Furthermore, in taxi's you don't have the child seats. If you don't want to hold your child on your lap, you can concider bringing a car seat from home. We heard you can bring it on the plane, but not really sure. You do have to drag it around of course. Hope this helps!

Fantastic video! It's prompted us to think about taking our 2-year-old to Thailand. When did you go to Chiang Mai? We're concerned about the air pollution during the burning season-did it affect your trip? Thanks for any advice!
Thanks so much, comments like these make our day! Last time we were in Chiang Mai was at the end of last February. To be honest we didn't really notice the pollution in the city. We didn't go into the mountains. It does get really hot this period. We've been in the end of March as well and that was a bit too much, also with the pollution. Next time we want to visit a little bit more early in the year. Hope this helps!
Keep up the excellent work 👍👍👍❤❤❤
Planning to visit Thailand with my family and 2 kids.... July 2025.
Any recommendations?
Thanks
Thanks so much!! That makes our day 😊 If you're coming over in July, it's good to do a little research on where you'll be staying. It's rainy season and some places have it less than others. Furthermore, don't travel too much. Every place has so much to see. For us it's most ideal to stay at least 3 days / 4 nights at each destination. Have fun!
Nice video! Do you recommend that we hire a car in advance in december? Or is that low season?
Thanks that's great to hear! For december we think it's wise to make a reservation. That's high season 👍🏻 have fun!
❤❤❤
Shout out to the invisble MVPs, the grandparents ❤🎉
Yes!! LOVE your comment, so true. Shout out to them! ❤️
Thank you for your video. Very helpful in helping me plan for a Thailand visit. Would you recommend bed and breakfast in the hotels or room only? Is street food generally safe to eat? Would love to do all inclusive for the rest of the holiday. Travelling with a 4 year old.
Thanks, we're so happy to hear that! 🙏 Breakfast at the hotel can be very practical. But check the prices. In our opinion, it's not worth it to spend like 10 dollars per person if you can get it for less than half of that outside of the hotel. We do eat a lot of street food. It's one of the best part of a trip to Thailand for us :) best to eat where there are many people eating and the food is freshly prepared, instead of reheated. And always keep using common sense when something doesn't look right to you. Have fun!
Is it ideal to travel through Thailand during June and July month as far as the weather is concerned ?
Hi! The best time to visit is from around November till around April / May. June and July are in the wet season. So expect rain. Be sure to know that it's different across the country. Check out Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao, since that region tends to get the best weather in that period. And visiting Thailand is always better than not visiting Thailand 😄
How did the baby backpack work? Do you have a link?
It was great at night markets, busy places or hiking. During the day in the heat it was actually a bit too hot. We preferred the stroller at that time. We got it at Decathlon. It's called the Kid Comfort Plus. Quite a budget one, but if you don't use it a lot we think it's not necessary to go all out and get the most fancy one. Mia was comfortable in this one. Be advised, it's quite big to bring.
What month was this?
This was around January/February
which month ?
Around November till around April is the best time to travel.
So Julie praat Dutch?
Yes! 😁
