can the market (on betfair) actually jump over your stop loss and not fill you ? i used to have a betfair account and i remember on football games when a goal was scored they pause all trading activity for a while. so if i have already placed my stop loss through Bet angel will it execute anyway ?

No, it won't it still needs to be matched. If the market is suspended for a goal all bets are cancelled and the market will re-price.
