  • Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers have gained a cult following over the past few years. Many consider their style of Chicken Tender to be the absolute best. Their newest location in Kissimmee is strategically located ten minutes outside the Walt Disney World Resort and is within walking distance of Margaritaville Orlando's shopping & dining district, The Promenade at Sunset Walk.
    We stopped by this brand new Raising Cane's on opening day to see if these Chicken Tenders are truly worth the hype. This is actually Raising Cane's third location in Central Florida and this particular location is quite peculiar. Our favorite Chicken Tender is actually on the Promenade at Sunset Walk. Cowboy Chicken specializes in Rotisserie Chicken, with incredible Chicken Tenders, and is mere walking distance from Raising Cane's newest location.
    In this video, we provide a full review of Raising Cane's but also put their Chicken Tenders to the test. After providing our full review of Raising Cane's, we head over to Cowboy Chicken to see who truly has the best Chicken Tenders in Central Florida. See our thoughts, favorites and who we think wins the crown while we experience opening day of a fast food restaurant that many consider to be the very best at what they do.

    Raising Cane is named after the owners dog, Cane. The business started with some other name - forget what, I think something with a fish in it - but it started as a concept the owner had to come up with in college - i guess for business school. He came up with this idea. The professor told him it was terrible business idea and it would never get anywhere and look at where he is now!

    Cane's deserves its cult following. The sauce is a remoulade, though, not a mayochup. It's a Louisiana thing. MY FAVORITE chicken and sauce.

    I have never heard the adjective "pebble" used for ice. I'm stealing that! We called it crushed ice, but I like pebble better. It's our favorite type of ice!

    Raising Cane's is one of our favorite places to go. I LOVE their sauce and use it on both the chicken and the fries. The bread is so good, too.

    You guys Rock!! Most improved VLOG of 2023. Definitely
    Out of curiosity why did you not ever compare, even as a note
    the Tenders v Chicken Guy (especially since you just did a review recently) or the sandwich to Chic Filet
    Those seem to be the A+ standard. So was this better or worse than those

    • @ThemeParkFoodies
      @ThemeParkFoodies  Před 6 měsíci

      Wow, thank you so much for the kind words. We didn't originally plan to do the comparison, but with Caine's having a limited menu we wanted to fill the video out. We chose Cowboy Chicken because it's very close to this Raising Cane's. Chicken Guy would be at least 30 mins out and we kind of wanted to have them both hot and fresh, right after each other. I'd definitely the tenders are 100% better than Chicken Guy, we've gotten some chewy rib meat strips at Chicken Guy before.

    I enjoy a good crinkle cut, but there are better styles. Definitely agree that they need that acidity from a pickle on the sandwich. Always enjoy your reviews.

    Their honey mustard is good 🙌🏼. I’m not into the cane’s sauce. Also you can substitute the slaw for another piece of Texas toast. I agree the Cane’s chicken is so good!

    So great timing! Just had a Canes recently built near me here in NJ near Philly, (guess they’re really expanding). I hope the chicken is a 10 as well here! I love crinkled cut fries, and the slaw did look pretty good too. This gave me some encouragement to really try them out! ☺️

      So I finally tried Raising Canes tonight and grabbed the 4pc combo meal. The only two things that stood out was the chicken and the coleslaw, but they didn’t blow me away either. The fries were decent but nothing to go back for, and the piece of “toasted” bread I could do without all day, I’d rather they give me another tender. The tenders were breaded nicely, the meat tender but to me small. The Canes sauce was really good too. Looking at it from a price point I don’t think I’ll go back anytime soon. $13 for the 4pc, $17 for a 6pc. Better deals at my local pizza place for tenders and fries lol. I give them a 6😢

    A 10... holy crap. Definitely going to have to try these. Do they really only have 1 sauce??? In Idaho we call that fry sauce. I like a variety of sauces, like Chicken Guy. To me that's part of the fun.

    All this video made me feel is hungry. 😂 I love RC! And I've never tried the Sammich and I'm glad I didn't because I had a feeling the bread was going to over power the chicken strips. They're super crunchy but they're also a little bland. And it's the sauce that makes it for them. I need and want that sauce bottled. I think a fun reel or Instagram story would be to pick up some tenders and taking them back home real quick or air fry them/bake and try them with some of your fav sauces Sam! Like honey mustard and ranch. I didn't even know Cowboy chicken had tenders! I did enjoy their RO chicken a lot! And I love how this RC is themed to Florida. Nom nom!

    • @ThemeParkFoodies
      @ThemeParkFoodies  Před 6 měsíci +1

      The sammich is not a necessity. We had Cane's to go the other day and I will say they didn't travel well and lost the crunch factor. Jay is obsessed with the sauce! I wish I could have Cane's tenders with Chicken Guy's sauces. I did find out they have a honey mustard at Cane's but they don't list it anywhere- but I put a note on my online order and got some :) Cowboy Chicken is so freakin good- overall a nice menu. The décor in Canes surprised me, very nicely styled.

    Hey Guys! Great review. Our experience at Raising Canes in Orlando was different. The chicken tenders were average at best. I will give them another shot the next time we are down . Hope to see you guys when we are there in 12 days. Keep up the great job!!

    Went to Raising Cains about three years ago and haven't been back. Best chicken tenders but I agree with Sam. Don't like the sauce. If I ever have my Chic fila sauce with me, honey mustard then I might go back. Nothing else is good there but the chicken. But the other shocker ,they gave me one sauce free and I ask for two more and they charged me 45 cents a piece. And I didn't even like the sauce. Went through drive through. Never again. Not worth the hassle. Congrats Sam
