Many thanks for a very clear tutorial. I had some left over crochet cotton (aunt Lydia 10), I had been crocheting mesh bags to use when buying vege to save plastic. I didn't have enough cotton left for one more bag and found your doily tutorial. I never dreamed I would be able to crochet a doily being a left handed basic crocheter, I managed 3 doily's before the thread ran out. Keep well.

Hi :) I made these years ago & they have help VERY well with DAILY use, & washing. It's a great first time doily/coaster pattern & I just wanted to thank you for teaching me this years ago & im so glad the pattern is still up cause I want to make more :)) I did mine in 2 colours for each coaster. I used really nice cotton yarn. So I just changed colours for the cluster round, it just adds a POP to it. I had 4 colours so I rotated the combinations & made a set, people can identify which is theirs too :)) Much thanks🙏

Hi there! Thanks for a fantastic tutorial. You're so calm & easy to understand & not a robot :) Lovely pattern. I changed colours on the row where you do your first cluster of 4 trebles row (can't remember what row number) and then changed back to main color. Looks fabulous!!! So for a beginner if you want to change colours try doing it at that point. You get a lovely stripe of colour. Thanks ever so much for this tut, you're so down to earth & pleasant to listen to. Brilliant. Easy to follow, and you have a nice voice to listen to. Some other vids can get a bit grating when the voice is'nt too pleasant. Thank you. Cannot wait to try this. Regards.

Thank you for this lovely pattern ! I've made it with a variegated yarn and it's pretty :) Howeverrrrr, I breezed through your instructions and went straight to the video! So yep, I've done the whole thing with US trebles :D
I did think you didn't seem to be wrapping as much yarn on your hook but i figured your fingers were just flying so fast haha.... :)

Thanks so much for this tutorial. It was easy to follow and well instructed. Was my first doily with crochet lace (#3) and it came out pretty good considering I'm a newbie. Thanks again!

Hey so I know stitches can differ by country. But your not doing treble crochet your doing double crochet. You have to chain 4 to start then yarn over twice before going through the stitch and yarn over.

Yep you're right, when you say "stitches can differ by country" - I'm British and use British terminology - here's a video I made to explain - czcams.com/video/GOu-PNkRdgU/video.html

Hello, Olivia. I'm glad I found this video, I have tried three different doily patterns, but no luck. As soon as I got to the third round, the pattern confused me and I had to start all over again. This one looks easy enough. I understand UK terminology, thankfully, so all I would have to do is reverse the instructions since I'm a leftie XD
    But really, thank you :)
