FIRST EDC | Partying for 5 Days in Vegas, 3 Days at EDC, Illenium at OMNIA, First-timer Tips | VLOG

- My EDC learnings and tips:
🎡 Be careful of pickpocketers!
Many people get their phones stolen - Even Michael almost got pickpocketed during a crowd crush and the guy dropped a bunch of phones from his bag after he ran away (cos M punched him as deserved LMAO)
🎡 Be careful of the main stage entrance/exit!
It's not an open space - the entrance gets funnelled and it's so crowded that when a big artist comes on a bunch of people try to get in/out at the same time because it gets so squashy at the entrance/exit. I lost everyone during this and my hair was caught between 2 guys' backs and I was being dragged backwards by the hair. Very scary!! :( Apparently not as bad if you're deeper in/further from the exit but we were too scared to try again, which was unfortunate because vibes were so good in there.
🎡 Rave backpacks are a good idea!
You can refill water for free at EDC and inside the bag where you drink from a tube/nozel LOL. Zips on the bag are also good to avoid being robbed.
🎡 The shuttle bus pass is expensive but basically a must have because it's hard to get a ride back and forth - they have a special route that opens just for the EDC buses that's faster but still a long ride from the main Vegas strip!
🎡 Drinks at the club is very expensive so make sure to pre-drink. Alcohol in North America overall is way cheaper to buy (in shops) than in Australia.
OR just go to a casino/sit at a poker machine and ask for a free drink LOL.
🎡 People have a special handshake to pass and trade Kandi bracelets that they make to each other
🎡 Having a flag is a good idea to help you find your friends in the crowd as reception is not the best but works sometimes
🎡 Everyone is almost naked so don't be shy to go all out hahaha
🎡 Buy liquid IQ - It's good for hangovers :')
My summary/learnings/experience on Vegas:
🎊 The airport is full of gambling machines
🎊 Taxis are cheaper than ride share apps
🎊 Always something to do (shows, club events, etc)

Las Vegas EDC // May 2023
That is the first time Kinetic Field GA and VIP areas were setup that way. There were looots of complaints. Should be much better this year. If you go back again, use one of the side entrances to Kinetic. Always less full and you can get closer.
Ohhh interesting i was told it was an issue for years some reason but that’s good to know! Didn’t realise there was also a side entrance thanks for the tip 😄
@@cheesybuttercorn The middle center of just about any stage crowd is always going to be more crowded just because thats the "best" view. The way Insomniac cut off basically the whole right side of the crowd space with the larger VIP really was a dumb idea.

I also got trauma last year trying to leave the main stage on Day 1 lol🙃it was so chaotic

You’ll meet a lot of Aussies if you go to Wasteland! We love our hardstyle hahah. Won’t be able to make it this year though 🥹 will need to watch your vids for prep if i get a next time! 😊

Why can Aussies enter US without visa but Americans needs visa to enter Australia.
We do it’s called an ESTA and costs about $30 :)
I’m American and the Australian “visa” takes like an hour to get opposed to America 😬
