Daylight Saving Time (DST) is the practice of shifting the clock ahead when summers approaches and back as winters come back so that people can have one more hour of daylight in the afternoon and evening during the summers of the year. Here in reality no daylight is saved, only the working hours are modified to utilize more lights available in the higher latitudes during summers. No such thing is required in equatorial regions as there are sunlight available in summers and winters is almost the same.

Very Nice Information but I have a confusion jab 9 am ki jagha 8 am pr work start hoga to evening me 6 pm ki jagha 5 pm pr band bhi to ho jayega so kaise time ka use hua wo to same hi raha subah ki daylight to leli lekin shaam ki to use nahi ki ?

Thank you so much for the video it contains maximum effort to make the concept easily understandable, but I have a doubt ..
As you said my implementation of day light saving time people start to office for 9am as shown in clocks but 8am in real.. on same logic if their closing time is 6pm as per clock and that would be 5pm in real. That clearly means they started one hour before and ended one hour before.. so how comes day light saving matters?

So you wouldn't need light bulbs in the offices in evening. this way sunlight is utilised.
