  • UPDATE 6/17/2021: HI EVERYONE! Thank you for all your love and attention over the years! As is my habit, I have pulled back from social media yet again for my own mental health. I want to keep this recovery video public because it's the most important message I've ever shared. Although I would love to stay available to chat with each and every one of you who care to reach out, it just isn't feasible at this time. But please know I feel your care and love to this day, and I am so grateful for the platform you gave me to share my story over the years.
I am doing extremely well, and growing in the privacy of my little offline life. My memoir is still being written, and I hope to release it Sunday, April 17, 2022. I'm also working on a series of children's books as well, and if those translate to something readable, I'll share those with you as soon as they're available!
** CORRECTION: I referenced that shame is ONLY correlated to negative self-harming and others-harming behavior. I SHOULD HAVE said it is HIGHLY correlated. I am working on finding those studies now, but Brene Brown is the researcher from whom I've heard the information and I highly advise reading and viewing everything you can of hers if you struggle with shame. **
I outline all the things I tried to overcome my Binge Eating Disorder. I tellyou what worked, what didn't, how I've changed and what I do now. I haven't had the feeling of a compulsion to binge in nearly four years, since I started doing the last item on this list.
