It was so damn long at the point that it wasn't hidden anymore, and It became a sword instead of a common blade

@@VF100 he cut off his ring finger so they will permanently know. He’s a part of the brotherhood and the hidden blade goes through there because the blade is on line with the ring finger and since he cut his ring finger. It’s a little bit more shorter and his Blade can go right through where his ring finger used to be.
Amazing detail that since altair was the only one to lose his finger for the blade, he's the only one whose animation shows him with a closed fist while the blade is out
I also noticed that altair is one of the few in the franchise to have only the one blade bc of the rules of the creed at the time while the others can have two without having to sacrifice any fingers at all

Assassin's creed rogue has the best sound effect for the hidden blade. In my head cannon it sounds so great because Shay is taking better care of his equipment than other AC characters.

@@kapitan19969838I recently played ac 1, ac brotherhood, revelations, 3 and black flag.
They are all beautiful with that story, not so simply but neither so difficult (if it's your first time it can be difficult but if you play them for the 5th time, tou already know everything), a fantastic gameplay (maybe a bit boring because you can easily destroy an army with only counter attacks or guns), the parkour is great (the parkour of ac revelations, for me, is better than the one in unity). The graphics is old, obviously (they are games for ps 3 not 4) but they have something when you that you can't describe. Maybe the magic of the old ac games

Only I think that the hookblade is almost useless? It's not a weapon. Sure it helps during parkour but if an assassin has to fight a group of enemies and he has only a hookblade, i would suggest him to run
Bro with Ezio I can literally sprint run into a group of enemies one of the larger groups at a tower and hook blade take down from his ankle then hidden blade killstab while he's down , then throw a sticky bomb at One enemy and kill multiple drop a smoke bomb and with The "Hookblade reach a high position in seconds , throw multiple bombs from range starting with an instant large explosion shrapnel bomb , then target any remaining with my recruits . But even if Ezio gets surrounded the hook makes it easier to counter sword attacks and he does just that quite literally slamming guards to death. Play the Game foreal next time man .
The hookblade literally has a blade at the end of it, it IS a weapon
@@HayilCrowz that's true, but the in-game weapon model doesn't reflect that. It has a blunt end, so it's weird that it can stab...and the hook does not get stuck in the wound?
I'm assuming you didn't do much fighting with the blades. If you watch the kill animations, you get to see Ezio quite literally hooking soldier's necks and throwing them around with the blade.
You need to fight with the hidden blades more.

Hook and run
Hook and flip/throw
Hook and steal (equivalent to taunt)
Hooks their legs to trip them up
He hooks their throats and pulls out a chunk of flesh
He hooks onto enimies to throw them around.
Although the game doesn't show it for some reason there's actually a blade at the end of the hook so he can still stab with it like it's a normal hidden blade.
It's just a unique blade design to make the game more fun but it still works as a tool and a weapon.

Ive always hated how the hookblade ends with the hook and not a pointed blade. It should be useless for stabbing with how it's designed (in the game). There's some wallpapers for the game that show what it should look like.

@@a.h7411That isn’t actually true. It depends on the brotherhood. Before Altair got rid of the ring finger sacrifice you only used one hidden blade. After the finger sacrifice was unnecessary they began to use 2 blades as standard.

In Unity Arno has 1 Blade in Syndicate Jacob and Evie has one blade so next time u do the sherlock thing play the other games
@@hindukush692 It varies between brotherhood. Arno's brotherhood continued to use 1 as standard. Jacob and Evie is because of lazy game design because they reused a lot from Unity. The Brotherhood from the movie took this a step further and didn't even get rid of the finger sacrifice.
