I only realized recently that trade is dynamically evaluated during a war. So if you have a mission or an estate agenda where you have to have the most, you don't need to take the big dog's provices, you only need to occupy them. Unless the mission also say you have to be at peace.
Novgorod is my favorite nation in EU4. I was devastated when I formed russia as them in the new patch and only 2 missions are different. :(
Yeah little bit sad about it but at least Novgorod can kinda be a more relevant country anyway just because of Russia new missions. Novgorod can also no cb ireland for colonial stuff if they want. Also I prefer republics personally.

So for Modernization when you get to 100 you can also take a decision that gives you some pretty nice modifiers. I just finished a Novgorod into Russia campaign to do Frozen Assets, which actually was quite fun.

Increase trust is way more favor efficient to get people to join wars than prepare for war, and prepare for war is temporary. Trust lasts.
The Ottos did not enforce peace but intervened in a war, which you can do if it is two or more great powers vs fewer

The War of Teutonic Aggression is part of the Teutons being allowed in the empire. One of the choices is to allow them in with the stipulation that until they form Prussia, any war declared on an HRE nation will also make them declare war on Austria. Something happened with Domination that they will actually do this now, which leads to wacky shenanigans like the Teutons and the Empire Incident firing twice in a single campaign, and the Teutons leaving both times (I am still angry).
Related to this, in that Domination must've done something to the AI, Burgundy will now form the Netherlands, also leaving the empire, and will subsequently lose all of the French land they may have claimed up to this point (I am also still angry).
I just finished a Russia campaign. I don't need to be convinced to do a republic Russia campaign now

@@QuarbitGaming just pulled up an old Russia save. Of course I'm at max Stab. Just hovered over raise Streltsy and bottom line of the text box says to raise 355 Streltsy it will increase my stability cost to +23.4% for relying on Streltsy. This is as of 1.30.6 mind you. I started hating the expansion packs. They added nothing really and just made the game too easy from my perspective. I can tweet you a pic if you'd like. 🙂

im so glad this guy got good at the game since like 6 months ago. I watch almost every video because it isn't painful to watch compared to other CZcamsrs, and eu4 CZcamsrs are not funny so the gameplay is all that matters.

i loaded into novgorod but wasnt enthralled about the mission tree.. so i released karelia , ruined novogord got free and console commanded myself norse religion in my provinces.. now im playing a huge pink norse russia/scandinavia
@@rory6860 i dunno what that is. what i hate about this game is how disappointing most of the formable nations are.. wait til admin tech 20 to form scandinavia.. no new missions, just a change of map colour & a new flag.. im just disappointed in general how lazy paradox are with most nations mission trees.. even big nations like ming have rubbish ones... if it were me making it id give every nation a unique mission tree, have every nation be able to go thru at least 2 formable nations, one local small one and one bigger one..each formable nation has a unique mission tree.. none of them should be based on tech. cos hardly anyone ever gets to admin tech 18-20 cos the game is generally pretty boring later on, which is why u see most youtubers only play 100-150 years and the dealing with rebels is a tedious chore late game... just increasing and increasing... 80 rebel factions? do one war, have to spend the next 5 years poncing about clearing rebels.. i think they need to start making this game fun and not WORK.. it feels like im doing a really boring office job and not even being paid

I can't say I like the model, there is something too distracting about it. I think the problem is that it just doesn't fit with the type of video you do. Vtuber models are made for energetic and exciting videos, and I don't think that's your style. I read below that you did it for branding? I have to say I don't really get that, a vtuber model isn't really branding. Not any more than a facecam is. If you want to pivot, pivot - but you need to actually pivot. Adding a Vtuber model to an otherwise exactly the same video isn't going to bring the effect you think it will bring, I think. Instead, why not try playing new games? If you want to find somewhere else to go, you need to do it now rather than when you have bled EU4 dry, and like I said, just doing the same thing with a model stuck onto it isn't really helping - unless you plan to do other stuff with the model? In that case I would say remember who your audience are. I think a lot of people would prefer a facecam if you insist on showing your face. If you really really want to keep the model you need the better tracking it is very important, and you need more energy in your videos - like I said above - the models just don't sit well with quiet and relaxed videos. I would recommend trying an energy level closer to and slightly greater than someone like Ludi et Historia. I would recommend actually looking at the types of channels with no face cam, with a face cam, and (western channels) with a Vtuber model and seriously consider what type of channels each are and what kind of audience they have. And then you have two options, try to mold this new identity with your current audience, or try and grow and find a new audience. I hope this is just growing pains so far. This is not meant to be hostile, but constructive criticism.
Here's an edit: Just so you know, from what I've seen. The main problem people are having with the model right now isn't that it exists, but that it's simply an image that wiggles in the corner distracting the eye. As someone with ADHD, I can say that is the main problem I have with it in it's current state too. It's making it extremely difficult to look anywhere else on the screen when it's constantly moving around. Like, with a facecam, the face moves but the body doesn't. With this model, it seems to sawy from side to side, and I think that's what is making it so distracting for these people. Try making it a bit smaller, and with more of the face and less of the body?
Also, I don't think you shutting down any critisism you get about this is a good idea, you said elsewhere that it was only 5% of people - but 5% of your audience is a lot, and you should listen to them (at least the ones with genuine critisicms and not the ones that are saying stuff like '"it's cringe" - don't listen to them)

Oh look, more unforseen consiquences of the Dominion update from a dev team who barely understood the game Paradox dumped in their lap and told to continue to work on while they swapped focus to Victoria 3 ... which after release promptly went back to working on CK3 and Stellaris instead... still not surprised. Also trade nodes being victim to the currently broken trade system which is now heavily impacted by both development and trade percentage bonuses the new devs mindlessly slapped around for flavour/meme reasons still doesn't suprise me (Venis has rediculiously broken scaling from a wonder and ideas stacking with the new goverment and estates system), especially when trade ideas are so rediculiously broken because maths scaling and ignorant devs who have never touched trade, the last time it was touched was several years ago by the old dev team. Also the AI has absolutely no idea how to deal with the new system as the devs didn't make a consertive effort to update it for the new estate system and events, so it mindlessly persues mission trees while exploding to rebellions, Ming and Ottomans are especially volitile in 1.35

To answer some of your assumptions: it doesn't take much time to add, since it uses face-tracking software. This is probably your first introduction to VTubing, I imagine. Also, I made it specifically for this channel, not as a hobby. Think of it as a webcam with a directed art style and creative control.
@@QuarbitGaming I'm 21 but maybe it's a regional thing. Here in continental Europe people don't really watch anime, it's frowned upon and reserved for the stereotypical "socially inept" people. Cartoons I don't really watch either as that's seen a children's territory, maybe bar shows like Rick and Morty and Bojack Horseman that are more associated with university aged people and still somewhat niche. You're correct in assuming that I've never come across any other content that I'd actually watch that features a VTubing element. I was aware of its existence but anytime I read about it it was used on channels specifically aiming for kindergarten aged children (like Kwebbelkop's side project). Perhaps societal views to developments like these are different in NA? I know for a fact that anime is much more widespread across the pond, thanks for hearing me out.
@@laiks5485 Interesting, some of my favourite VTubers are actually European. Anime is almost mainstream in North America, you can find it in movie theatres and most young people have watched at least a few. It wasn't the case maybe 15 years ago, but animation for young adults is generally more accepted now (even my mom likes some anime lol).
Our experiences with VTubers is also opposite. The ones I watch have a young adult audience, but I can see why your experiences lead you to believe it was children's content.
