They problem with this video is that the piece he is holding in his right hand is mounted in the corner of the wall; the piece in his left hand has to be reinsert back onto the piece in his right hand. Afterctryibg for more than 30 minutes I have to have a tech come out to reinsert it as I can't get the bottom of the left piece to resist into the right piece no matter how much I tried and my arms could tolerate. Irpf I could have removed the right piece from the wall I would have, however, the two screws mounting it to the wall are inside it.
I replaced the battery and ever since it shows on the panel “Tamper 10 garage motion” I couldn’t close the lid so I tapped it shut to the base on the wall. How do I fix this problem. Help please 😢
@bonnyandbella2212 take it back down, make sure the battery is the right position. Check to make sure no tabs broke then slide it close. Once completely closed, the Tamper alert should clear.
@@TseMh the tabs are broken 😞, can I replace the back part of the panel or do i have to replace the whole sensor ? and if so how can i pair the new motion sensor with the control panel? Will it work if i use a rubber band or tape it shut tightly, Until my friend comes home from her vacation?
call your alarm company to put the system on test. just ignore the trouble sound. after you change the battery, clear the trouble by punch in the user code

What about the panel? Do we need to do anything other than disarm like when replacing the batteries in the smoke detector?

What do you have to do before you change the battery? We have done this over and the panel keeps saying open patio door
