Man, I am loving the daily vids again! Do you guys ever fish for your dinner? I feel like with a lot of these camping spots, you have access to a lot of clean, healthy fish you could eat.
Classic first boarding move! You may want to look into inflatable pfd’s. They have a small CO2 cylinder and a ripcord for inflation if needed, but are worn without being aired up and require very little room to stow away. The kayak is a great addition to your rig!

That will mold if you roll it up and put it in the sack a lot when its wet. Just be aware so you don't mess it up! But that's awesome and so glad you got the fall on film. Was awesome.

your skeg was facing the wrong direction (fin on the bottom). plus fill some air in the bottom or you will be putting exctra stress on the side seams
Have a inflatable kayak from advanced elements - 3 years old - love it fits in a duffel bag - no rack needed - goes in any trunk

Don't store it completely full of air. Of it gets hot the air will expand and pop the kayak. I did that to a great kayakyears ago

I am pretty sure that the bottom of that kayak inflates also for better stability. You should try it.
Did our kayak inspire you? 😉 I will say ours only takes 10-15 minutes total with our manual pump. Ok, reason not to leave it inflated on the roof. Air compresses and expands so it could pop or deflate and fall off the roof.
Like some others said, sell the kayak and get two inflatable stand up paddle boards. You guys will enjoy them more and my dog loves riding on mine with me.

recommend adding a string to the fin/skeg...tied to the boat, so you don't lose it. good luck with the inflatable

That is Burnett Pond. We used to camp there when I was a kid visiting my Grandfather in Adams MA over 30 years ago. Saw a bear across the pond on one trip and decided it better to let him sleep there that night. I knew where you where because of the damn at the end of the camping area. Too cool to see it again. Keep up the good work!
Try getting a cheap low pressure high volume air pump, like for filling air mattresses on amazon. A lot faster than the small tire compressor that’s high pressure low volume

Hey mate if you inflated it as described in the instructions, you might find you have more room inside rather than caving in on it’s self. The initial boarding crack me up. Have fun.

Thanks for the video. It might be helpful to get an air compressor that works off of volume versus pressure. It will fill that kayak up really fast. They are pretty cheap. Like 20 or 30 bucks. Take care.
The skeg is on backwards. A cheap high air flow pump would really speed up the initial blow up phase

Try using a 12 volt inflator rather than a compressor to pump up the yak. They are lower pressure but higher volume and inflate things like yaks and air mattresses much quicker. I don’t think they are all that expensive either.

Get a camping mattress inflator. Will fill the kayak fast and just too it up to the higher pressure with the compressor. That kayak will be completely done in about 5 minutes.

An inflator will blow that thing up much faster than a compressor. Though it takes up more space in the Jeep. May be able to rig the exhaust to inflate it.

Is it a requirement? Here, if you are in protected waters and your boat is less than 6 metres you don't need one. And if over 6 metres you only have to have one in the boat for each person.
