I saw so many horrible things my one year working there. I came to the conclusion really fast that the guards are at least twice as bad as the inmates. I could write a book on all the shit I saw in that single year :(
Thats how most prisons are...I've seen people with seriously I'll and all the doctor would say is you're dehydrated or it's allergies.... people with serious injuries only to be put back in the housing unit and get much worse after time...after being charged for their wheelchair ride or for the sick call!! It's all about the money!!
I discovered this story long ago narrated by Maple Creepypasata. The way he read this story forever left an impression on me. I know mcp is going to do a great job, so hyped for this

Can verify that the attitude of the cons in this story is dead-on perfect Some of the exact slang used is either very local-specific or from a rather distant past. Hooch is real - and just as stomach turning as described. Drugs inside are a real thing - but not quite as freely available as indicated. Different states vary - but in Texas the guards working the pods have no firearm. No taser either. Officers in the towers have a small array of weapons - 12 ga shotgun, 357 revolver and a 223 rifle. A few other little discrepancies, but the person that wrote this either spent a little time "inside the fence" - or paid really close attention to people that had. As always, the narration and voice skills are top grade.
I really appreciate the heads up. I just listened to another story earlier and was a little surprised by the content. Having a warning I'm good. Then I'm able to acclimate myself to expect it.
I appreciate how MCP is courteous to his audience, but I honestly prefer being shocked about the contents of the story if only because it makes me more invested in it. I understand that others might not be the same and I totally respect that.

What ever happened to the creepypasya he narrated called " the spire in the woods" where a craftsman made some sort of clock that chimes after he killed his wife for cheating on him, and some high-school kids found it
