open the camera on the app, top right hit the settings button make sure "receive alert Notification" is checked". then look at motion detection, make sure that's on... best i can help with...just changed my BB and have to take the lot down and re program!

You don’t have to have one if you use an sd card.
How do you add the solar panel cause it’s only say charging by battery even if I put the solar panel connected
@@robertaperez5183 the cam works with battery. However, when you see the lightning on the battery it is charging. Under battery management, it'll show you too, under electric quantity.
Does anyone know if it has the ability to have video preview when receiving notifications of motion? My Wyze camera has that but I can’t find any setting for it in the cloud plus app

Yes. Cams are connected via wifi. So as long as wifi is available and no disruption from cam (like stating offline), you can view from anywhere, city, state, country.
Mine keeps failing to connect on the scanning. Any idea's why? Im on 2.4g
Mine's the same. When I'm lucky and it actually connects, it takes ages to connect. Whoever is knocking at the door is long gone. My router is close by, and when setting camera up, said strong signal.

Based on my settings, only event recording. I don't have an SD card, but I think settings will still be the same, event recording only.

I have an sd card and the cloud and cannot figure out why I can't look back on any portion of the video except for when it detects motion. Does anyone know if this has continuous recording or not? TIA
No it doesn’t, only 30 secs maximum when triggered by movement.

Can it work without wifi and only just store data on the memory card ?
I was disappointed when, our lights went out, to find out, the cams will be useless. Bc they connect via wifi. Without wifi, they're offline.
However, I don't have SD cards in them, so not sure if settings will continue to work without wifi. It'll be nice! And once online, hopefully it'll be in the memory.
I do wish these worked with and without wifi, especially when outages occur.

How is the camera holding up now?
Very well, it’s been through a couple of major storms and it’s been holding up really great. Discovered I have a hawk that come to my backyard every day at noon so the notification mode is pretty great.
If you have a bigger backyard would it work with the wifi still?
@@PabloG7 should work no problem, obviously the farther away from your router the less powerful your signal will be but I placed mine in my backyard and it’s about one acre out back and pretty far from the router and I was still getting full bars. If you’re planning on placing it more then an acre or so away I could see it possibly having some signal issues.

About 90, it can be angled a bit more possibly but I don’t have the exact measurements

It's an option. Like you, I want the cams to be discreet, so I turned intelligent vision off under image settings - full color mode.

Was looking for a step by step set up demo to complement the scant instruction from the package, but to no avail. The audio is barely audible. He keeps saying "obviously" instead of giving any helpful set up information. If it is that "obvious", why do we need him?
