A brief glance at the Pont des Arts, the most popular pedestrian bridge in Paris. Shot partially with a small tripod and partially hand-held; unfortunately, the difference is obvious.
Watching this beautiful and evocative video serves a dual purpose. As much as it makes anyone, me included, yearn to visit the beautiful and iconic Paris again, it makes us lament the fact that the Notre Dame as we first saw it in person won't be the same...and neither will our communal way of life as we experienced it.
Beautiful video. My wife and I are going back in October to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary and we didn't even know about the locks when we were there in 2008! Do you mind telling me what camera you were using, lens, ISO setting, etc. Merçi.
@f13dfx The locks haven't been around that long; they've only started appearing in the last few years. I'm not sure if they were there in 2008. The camera is just a little consumer camera that can do video or photos. The lens is built in and it's all automatic, so I'm not sure what exposure it used. If I had been shooting film, this would have been about f/8 at 1/250 with Fuji Provia 100F.
