@@QueenofVHS I actually second that! If Taro and Su Lee could settle their differences with a truce, I do not see any reason why Ingrid and Danielle couldn't. Giovanni and Max also settled their differences and became buddies to the point both were living together. Actually your idea would be a good send off to Ingrid before she left in Season 3. It would be interesting to see Ingrid and Danielle fight again, only to realize it is pointless and then become friends

Agreed, to be honest, the UN in NYC is pretty meh and UN is quite useless imo. I attended a Model UN debate and everyone was squabbling about their own interests and unity is non existent. Teachers had to step in and refused to let everyone go home unless they work together in harmony

I remember in the episode "All Present If Not Correct", Mr. Brown, after noting Ingrid was from Stockholm on the student register, asked her what her job was.
She tells him "au pair", he says "which pair?" looking at her chest, "oh an au pair". 🙃😋

Maybe the "effects of age" ...but the more I see this show, the MORE I "have eyes" for that Jameela (the knitting-wali Saree-lady) 🙏...unlike for Ingrid as I used to (only!) in my youth 😊😊
Jamila has a good heart. Even though she once had a habit of mistaking "free" as free item whenever she sees that word, but I believe that mistake was pure innocence and not mischief. I never see Jamila insult anyone, the worst she did was to fight Jock, who insulted Jesus Christ, but she does that because she stays true to her beliefs. Compare her to Su Lee, who attempts to spread Socialist doctrine on her classmates to no avail. Jamila does not provoke other people. She even helps others. In the Season 3 finale, she helps out with the party. She has a wholesome friendship with both Ali and Taro. Ali lets her watch TV at his apartment, and Taro spends time with her as new table mates and friends. Jamila does not understand Su Lee but does not provoke her. Jamila is basically someone who is quite chill and laidback and has a friendly disposition.
Ingrid on the other hand, flaunts her beauty, without realizing that inner beauty is more important. At least Danielle has more inner beauty than her. She sees Danielle as a foe because she wants Mr Brown to herself and don't want her to get to him first. It is sad the writers did not dedicate an episode, let alone a scene where both Ingrid and Danielle settle their differences and bury the hatchet. It will be nice to see both of them apologising to each other as Ingrid tells Danielle she will be transferring school and will miss her. Ingrid does not have any friends, let alone guys who fancy her. Juan and Giovanni fancy her a lot. Giovanni tells Max at their balcony he fancies her and Max says he fancies a lot of people.
It is rare to find Jamila fans, but there is definitely a sizeable amount of people like you and I'm glad you are her fan for the right reasons ^^

Danielle and Ingrid are woman version of Ali and Ranjeet
Actually, you are not wrong, because both pairs are rivals. However, we never see Ingrid and Danielle help each other or team up. Ali and Ranjeet, despite their differences, actually team up and help each other. Ali gave Ranjeet 10 P as long as Ranjeet praises Muslims, Ali and Ranjeet worked together to do a comedy skit for the school concert(their skit is my favourite act among all the 12 students). They also worked together in the fete and came up with a very brilliant plan that ensures they will always win money, even if it is to be donated to a charity. There was a scene where both brought a cup of coffee for Mr Brown, but they forgot whether it was tea or coffee. In the S3 finale, Ranjeet collaborated with Ali's wife, Rehana, to throw a big party for Ali, to thank him for being a good husband and giving her a beautiful baby. Unfortunately , that plan went south, when Mr Brown got involved and unintentionally gave Rehana the wrong impression Ali was cheating on her when he never did. Still, I wished Season 3 had a better ending, Season 2 ending was top tier.
I just wished there was 1 scene where Danielle and Ingrid resolve their differences. Like maybe in Season 2 finale Ingrid tells Danielle she is transferring schools and apologises to her, to which Danielle does the same, before both hug each other. Danielle is absent in Season 4 so Ingrid might not get the chance to talk to her. They could also make a pact saying neither of them can date Mr Brown or even flirt with him. Writers could have added a scene where they did something like that, that will help end their rivalry in good terms

Ali is one of the funniest characters in the series. Shame he got replaced in Season 4 by Farouk, who is much more crappy than Ali. Farouk imo is quite unfunny and not comedic at all, he is more or less a poor copy of Ali. Main reason why Ali did not appear in Season 4 is because his actor, Dino Shafeek, passed away from a heart attack prior to filming of Season 4.
