We have a discount store here where i live in Florida and there is more about a 1 hour and 45 mins away. We grab 3 big coolers and dry ice to keep everything cold for the trip. Cause even in the "winter" it is hot. But it can save us 100s a month.
I live in Amish country in Ohio. We love to go to the Amish scratch and dent stores for groceries. We can always find good deals. And Walnut Creek Cheese is very close - great store!

I think it would be fun to challenge yourself with meal planning based on the deals like that. Probably not feasible all of the time, but a challenge like that would shake things up a little.

Have you ever gone to Van Wert Country Store in Mifflintown? Bulk foods as well as cooking/canning items. I love all the stores you visited today. We have BB’s bent and dent store, as well as several bulk food stores in the Newville PA area. They’re all so willing to allow me to order cases or different grain berries that they have access to but may not carry in store. Love these videos.

Walnut creek is Amish its the heart of Amish country in Ohio every time I go through Ohio we stop there because you find so many markets even furniture. I have a rocking chair and bed which now is 34 years old and it still looks incredible , and the decor and Home goods are beautiful.
Would LOVE to have stores like these near us farther into New England! We have nothing like these stores.Even our over flow, big box bread store closed!
I live in Ohio, and the only bargins I get at the Mennonite stores near me are bulk produce. Everything on the shelf cost more than Walmart, but it's cheaper than Azure Standard. I'd rather pay a little more on certain things and support the local farmers than give all our money to big box stores.
I wish we had these stores here in Washington state. Our food is soooooo expensive. These stores would really help. Our eggs are 5 doz for $18.00!!!!! $5.00 gallons of milk. Its crazy

A few places near Strasburg that are very similar. Hillside Bulk foods, Creekside Foods, and Lantz Discount Groceries. Another gold mine is Sharp Shopper. Happy shopping!😊

I haven’t been to any of these types of stores since I moved to NC. I really need to look into and see if there are any. I know there are patches of mennonite communities around. I used to loved to go shop at these types of stores when I lived in upstate NY.
