A no discoloring vanilla?!!!!! That's the Holy Grail of soap fragrance!
I went to the website to order the non-discoloring vanilla and they wanted to add a $20 service fee because I wasn’t ordering $300 worth of merchandise. The vanilla oil was over a dollar an ounce, which I guess is fair since it was real vanilla. But then I also was going to have to pay shipping charges. That is way over my budget for an item that may or may not work in the long run.
@@414justzoot there always has to be a catch. Like you that isn't in my budget and I would have to price my soap at a point where it would be so ridiculously high no one would buy it

nope, it discolors to tan. This is what their website description : A vanilla that is perfect for blends and fortunately only turns tan, rather than the dark brown of most vanillas. Blends with nearly all other fragrances, try it in a few and you'll be pleasantly surprised. A very nice vanilla scent with infinite possibilities but a very nice vanilla that holds its own.
Chemistry Store has it but shipping is a little crazy but it is the better option.

Hi Katie! I think it would be really cool to see a wooden and resin water soap. I’m really sorry I’m not really sure how to explain it but it’s like wood spit in half with clear resin in the middle (but with soap of course, not wood and resin😂). Please like so Katie will see❤️❤️
Oh like the table tops I've seen, the natural gnarled wood slices and the holes are filled in with clear/ translucent resin? I've also seen rings and bangles where one part is the wood and the other is clear/ translucent resin. It'd be kind of cool to see that in cold process and melt and pour with maybe a hanger swirl. But on the other hand I have never made soap in my life and I don't know if the two processes would play well together like that!

I went to cake and pastry school. We made them and omg - so yum! I also stopped at Ladurée in Paris and brought a bunch home - theirs are the BEST! Literally, light and chewy and so delish in all kinds of flavours. The Earl Grey and pistachio were my fav. :)

They only employ students with bad pay and they disrespect them.

I’m sure people send you soap ideas all the time, but I honestly feel like this one would be magnificent. It would be lovely for the holidays and just different enough to hold peoples interest.
Italian rainbow cookies. It would be 3 soap colors (pale red, yellow, and green) with a mica line in a raspberry color between them. It would be topped with a thin layer of chocolate colored soap and either fork swirls or chocolate sprinkles. The scent could be a custom blend of raspberry, chocolate, and almond. I would certainty ❤️it

I think it would be cool if you could make a harajuku inspired soap! Some styles of harajuku (like decora kei, hime gyaru, sweet lolita) are so colourful and decorative and I think you could totally pull it off!

@@MrRussiaPink you are very correct, but what I was refering to was the Lolita fashion in general and how gothic is always tacked on even though there are a ton of sub categories as well :) when pastel goth is google, my browser, to me, shows a lot of Asian pop culture influences and I even saw a few JSKs (official and not) I do not now the orgins of pastel goth but this soap definitely reminds me of Sweet Lolita :3

I really like the soap, but I still want to see pastel goth. Like I can see the idea of using striking colors in the midst of black but that wouldn't work so black in pastel colors would be probably pretty Smokey and look gorgeous, as well as you can get away with some interesting piping, like black piping and pastel piping in the next rows, and I've been here while but I don't remember if you have a skull embed mold, but I'm pretty sure they sell some that are small enough, also Holo would be very much appreciated for the glitter because there is a lot of Halo in the pastel goth group simply because Hollow does look like a pastel rainbow that's constantly moving.
OMG this is the cutest soap ever! I thought what you were going to do with all of the colors after the diagonal teal triangle set up was pour them in layers to have horizontal stripes going up the side of the triangle, but the 'in the pot' swirl turned out pretty as well!
I loved boris and natasha from rocky and bullwinkle so much as a kid, I even saw them at universal studios and got their autographs! they signed and wrote "be bad all day" it was awesome!

Hi Katie! This is beautiful, would be perfect for birthday celebrations! I have tried macarons before they are good. Oh and for other soap suggestions, how about a bubble tea/boba inspired soap. Another cool one would be a vintage, shabby chic, rustic chalkboard art inspired soap. Black soap with white writing and maybe some pastel flowers, and glitter of course! 😊

The Alice in Wonderland would be SO CUTE!!!!! Me and two of my friends are doing a Wonderland theme costumes to!! I’m being Alice and my friends are being the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter!!
Okay so one year we did a fantasy theme.. dragon, knight,, princesses.. another year we did Darth Vader and Obi-wan (we don't always all dress up, but we do when we can!). Another year we did Thing 1, Thing 2 etc. from Dr. Seuss. So many options! ^-^ My daughter even has a full Ghibli style cat costume. Its so cute! when she walks the tail swishes!

Hi from Sweden! I have a question/request video. I think it would be interesting to know how you clean your blender/buckets/molds in between uses. Or do you just scrape off the soap really good? Like the bucket used for the lye solution? That shouldn’t be cleaned in a regular sink? Or can it be? Like a video for behind the scenes- the boring stuff the viewers/soap buyers don’t see. And maybe it would be good to see if one were thinking to start making soap :)

From a chemistry point of view it would be totally fine to wash the completely emptied (!) lye container in the sink (while still wearing your gloves etc of course). If you had some lye solution left in it, you would be needing to neutralise it first before pouring it down the drain. I‘m a physicist btw, had some labs in chemistry though- so I feel qualified to answer this

I wanted to thank you for something that’s made a huge impact on my life. I know it sounds strange yet your videos have made my severe insomnia so much better. I adore you and your videos. Yet always found myself drifting off due to your calm cheerful voice. I now every night put your channel on and watch till I fall asleep. Which is HUGE for me. I’ve suffered from really bad insomnia for years. It’s almost ruined my life. I’ve tried everything from medicine, oils, and meditation. Yet this month has been amazing and I have you to thank.

I have had Macarons before and despite the fact I had an allergic reaction, I loved it! Sweet, and light and crispy at the same time. Sadly most Macarons are made with Almond or almond flour so anyone allergic to almonds is sol. Lily is just a doll! I have a niece very close in age to her and got to spend the day kissing and loving on her today. Babies are the best! TY for sharing Lily with us.

I love this soap!!!!! It's definitely my aesthetic! It may not have any goth, like black or bats or skulls or whatever, but it has a sort of pastel galaxy sweet vibe and I love it!!!!
