Neil is one of my very favorite writers. I was lucky enough to see him talk in Tulsa, Ok. He is as nice and charming as they say. Just a man doing his passion. I took this course. Just to spend time with his charm, humor, and POV on story telling was worth it. EVERYTHING is Story. Once a person looks at the framework of storied and how they are all basically the same, that framework can be applied to every creative endeavor you undertake in life. These courses are really awesome. I aim to take more.

Norse Mythology is great if you haven't yet checked it out ... obviously the source material was already in place but the way Neil puts it together as one linear story is super entertaining 😉

I love Neil Gaiman as their choice of writer, but it'd still be cool to see them tear someone like, for instance the great Terence Malick (filmmaker) into the grid for a MasterClass clinic. I wanna know how Malick apparently just casually made Badlands in 1973 without realizing what an epic and timeless story it was? How patient did he he have to be to get some of those shots from The New World or The Tree of Life. And dude you work as a film teacher? Thats cool... Otherwise, you can't find even any on-set photos of him... he's worse than Kubrick was. I guess I would likely be a similar way though when it came to dealing with the media
