Akpe lo. Much love 😘😘
Thank you so much for this recipe Fafa. Abolo really is one of the best things from Volta
Esinam Attivor my dear not only volta but central Region
Esinam Attivor you are right. Abolo is one of Volta's best foods indeed. Any other region's variation is just a copy or adaptation. Volta, the Togolese and the Beninoise own the origins of the Abolo, period!
Best detailed recipe.
Wow yummy, Ndudu i love your outfit 👍🏼🥰❤🇬🇭

Hi Fafa. Great recipe. I tried making abolo your way but had difficulty because of the yeast. I believe you only add yeast directly if it is fast rising or rapid rise yeast. If it is active dry yeast, you first have to proof it in warm water and let it foam up before adding it in. Is that the case? If so the list of ingredients should say fast rising or rapid rise yeast. Thanks for bringing a bit of EWELAND to Obroniland!
Wow
😘😘
Oh yumm, you did it again Ms. Fafa.. just wondering if you can make jacoumé next time..@ndudubyfafa

The okoro stewis so green, I believe it's fresh cut ones not frozen
I was really excited to try this recipe (seriously excited since this is one of my absolute favorite dishes) but it just didn’t work for me. I followed your instructions to a T and even weighed everything for the exact grams. Mine was too thick I ended up adding some additional water. Then it just wasn’t sweet enough so I added a lot more sugar. But it also didn’t ferment properly. The consistency ended up too “doughy” and too firm. I left mine to rise 2hrs so I thought it would have been more than fermented. I also don’t have the Ghana corn meal so I used the regular white corn meal you can find in stores, similar to the one you used. What did I do wrong? Can you help?
My wife had the same difficulty, so have to add extra extra water to it.
Please can you teach yakeyake.
Thank you so much but how many g of yeast did you use please?
Link to the recipe is also in the description box.

Fafa, volta they have recipe called (Etuku), they use cassava the same method like bankye krakro but they add only salt together and steam it like Abolo, and they eat together with frying keta school boys, any fish or any stew you want. But I don't know if you know the recipe. Before I use to bought it ones in a while to ate.
Research activated 😘
It's atukpu, it's very popular in cote d'ivoire because it's an nzima receipe

I think you can also bake is it?
There’s a separate recipe for the baked version.
Hi Fafa, where can i get the silver molds at?
Thanks for this recipe can you show us how to make yakiyaka please
I miss home
Hello can we bake it in the oven?
I’ve not baked it in the oven before as it’s steamed for a traditional recipe.
It’s also kinda airy sorta like a dense bread
How much yeast should I use???
ndudu-by-fafa.blogspot.co.uk/2017/12/abolo-or-ablo-recipe.html?m=1

It’s readily available online or in most supermarkets
Humm 🧁
There are no Ewes in Cote D’ivoire. But we love Ablo
It is actually not an ewe food it is akan its real name is abodoo meaning corn breaad.
@@trudykeziaabayirenkyi8424 this is new. Never heard this before
@@trudykeziaabayirenkyi8424 . Really, can you mention a town among the akans that does this. Because i have always seen this among ewes especially (Voltarians, togolais and Beninese. And even among the CZcamsrs , it's done by Voltarians, 🇹🇬🇧🇯. They have the baked version of abolo too.
@@trudykeziaabayirenkyi8424 Abli = corn Elolo= expand or increased Abli+ Elolo=Abolo
Awww, I'm not surprised because we have ewe and Ga fisherfolks migrants in Cote D'ivore

Another favorite food of mine, I don't like chewing so i prefer eating ewe/Anglo dishes, easy to digest, please kitchen rule #1-cover ur hair anytime u enter the kitchen and especially cooking time
It look easy but everytime i did it i failed.
