These are all amazing. Maradens work is super vibrant, love it. Pretty Skin Stickers feels like the grunge Era of graphic design, feels punk and rebellious, which I love. Matt Rule's work first blew my mind. The combination is wild. Beth Rose, is amazing as well. Very unique and bad ass. Mambo work I can tell he comes from a designer background. Love the color palettes he adds, so creative. Can't pick a favorite. They all are amazing. 🐠
🐠 I love Amanda Wachob tattoos. She does detailed color like you pointed out in Mambo's work and is extremely artistic about it. And what I love most about her is she can tattoo color on ANY skintone. She says any artist could learn to do the same. I wish they did. Maraden and Mambo were my faves on your list.

With some of these styles I always wonder about the longevity of the work, but it's still fascinating to see people really pushing the boundaries of tattooing as an art. 🐠

Prettyskintickers is not my style but the way they tattoo is really bold and it shows really good on dark skin. It’s like the tattoos spread like vines around the body it’s really unique and I see the beauty in it.

🐠 it’s interesting to see how some tattooers are still doing very unique and original styles. When I read the title of the video, I immediately thought “mambo has to be on here” lol. One tattooer that I think has a very unique style is pittaKKM. He got his idea for his style by looking at the pattern on old Korean Buddhist temples, and then came up with a way to incorporate that with his tattoos.

I usually judge the artist ability to tattoo on a range of skin I think THAT’S when your professionalism and ability really starts to show. Yeah, that red is cool with the black and white. Cool, you can do tones, shading and color on a light canvas but how are you outside the comfort zone. Making color pop on darker canvas, maintaining tones and shading is really an amazing skill.

so cool! i wish more of these photos had a variety of skin tones though (not your fault ofc) - i find the use of color so striking but would love to see if it's even possible on skin like mine or darker
OMG I wanna get tattooed by Maraden! I absolutely love the red with black and grey tones. I've seen red fall out on many people, so I always stay away from red when getting tattooed, but I'd definitely love to have his art on my body!

The Matt dude, reminds me of a project I had to do in art class in high school. We had to take a photocopied image and cut it up so that only part of the image was the photocopy and then we had to draw the missing parts. I did a John Lennon piece with the drawn parts in colored ink. Won a prize at the art show.

Omg I made an artwork like Matt Rule in 2020 when I got my first iPad and the other day I wanted to recreate the same design but better because I am much better using my iPad now. That’s crazy, I’ve never seen anyone do that type of artwork before.

I really just love how different tattoos can be, it's one of the reason I love them so much. They just have so much life and personality. I love tattoos and if I had more skill in art I would love to have pursued it as a career. Instead I'll enjoy getting tattoos.

I love maraden’s tattoos and honestly would be willing to travel to get one. My only hesitance is that I’m not sure I’m seeing any POC tattood with that bright color on their insta…I really hope they do tattoos on brown skin…

Pretty skin stickers really shouldn't be divisive. The technical application is stunning. There's clear purpose to the design and the skill to get the consistency in that black is nothing short of professional. Couldn't see any blow outs granted every tattoo artist do post their best. and the lines are really straight and well applied. Saying they're not good or they're designs lazy really don't know what they're talking about.

Last yearI finally got to get a tattoo from Mambo. He and his sister (who runs thing) were super nice and I have the only head tattoo he'd done to that point. I didn't have room on my arms or legs. Very happy with my ray gun.
I would also argue _mashkow_ and oozy_tattoo should've been on this list. What they do is SO distinct and incredible

beth is my favourite of these artists, personally the other artists feel like flavour of the month/trend tattoos for me. a collectors dream for some though!

🐠 great video! Mashkow should have made the list. I can think of a few others but time constraints are understandable.
Mashkow is one of my favorite tattooers of all time, but his style is also very polarizing. People who like his work love it, but people who don’t like it think it’s the worst thing they’ve ever seen. It’s interesting to read his comments.
I have three tattoos by mambo, my boyfriend four. On top of everything you said I can add he's such a nice person, makes you feel at home in his shop, with the help of his sister also working there. Unstoppable chatting sessions and very interesting guy
Beth Rose fans might also like Hannah Flowers. She's an extraordinary oil painter and tattooer, and her style in recent years is heavily influenced by Art nouveau as well as Baroque and Renaissance paintings. Somehow dark and ethereal at the same time.
Laura Annunaki has a unique style and take on anime tattoos.. great choices on your list though! 🐠
Make it a serie ! There are many other very unique artists out there, check Mikael de Poissy who invented a stained glass / French traditional style !
