The background noise is beautiful. The birds and I couldn’t figure the other ones. Maybe, you can tell us. It sounded like brooding but who knows. Oh my goodness, the monkeys right in your backyard. You don’t even have to go to a zoo them. That’s paradise for me despite all the challenges. I have been longing to pick up and go to south India from Canada but I have in social services but I can’t even begin to create a business of my own to start there. I have like 10 yrs left before retirement.😩

I really enjoyed watching your vlog. I like watching your day to day business. You don’t need a full on project all the time. The electrical problem was interesting and I’m glad you got a proper electrician to fix the issue. That would be terrible to have the electricity continuing to go out at random times throughout the day like you experienced.

Actually June is not the ideal month to visit SL, specifically the south.

@@peaches79 Usually December to mid April is the country wide peak season. The weather is always unpredictable since it’s a tropical island but generally hot except the Central hills. More tourists visit SL in these period. If you have plans to visit the East Coast, May to September is the best period. That being said you can still enjoy South during these months as well, but the beaches can be windy and rough over there. Hence the crowds are lesser.
.... sorry the Climate changed and we have El Nino. Now every day also raining here in Ahungalla, Balapitiya, Ambalangoda, Hikkaduwa, Galle....
And Thunderstorms! And Lunchtime very very hot! 😢

When are you guys going to Indonesia? I plan on going there in November and stay a few months. I plan on going there to learn how to make vlogs. There is so much more to record in Bali other than where I am. Maybe because I’m so used to this place, it’s no longer a novelty to me. Lol.
Lahiru drives the three wheel the same way I drove the first three wheel. 😂 Driving a vehicle for the first time is a wonderful experience.😊

There is an alternative tropical Christmas feeling I hope you will discover, it is not the same as cosy cold weather Christmas but it can be glorious if you can manage it. Christmas eating in Sri Lanka is a real thing, so maybe one day you can split your Christmases between the two extremes, or even add other types of Christmas to your repertoire, Aussie Christmas for instance. Sweet Christmas carols under a moonlit tropical sky can feel very authentic for instance! There is special food that gets shared with friends and neighbours…. But maybe next year in England?
