i met these guys at NAMM, I’ve been a fan of the gear for some time but never tried one before.

@@jayseb You'll burn it! The question doesn't make any sense anyways... Fuzzes are supposed to be ran at 9v or lower for more effect. It all depends on the fuzz type, babe.

Hey Bea, dig all of your gear videos, but this is especially amazing! Sounds like such a versatile Octave option... i have been searching for a long time and have tried several different options and have not been satisfied with the sound. This is a clear winner, there appear to be no bad sounds. Thanks for the great demo, must have one of these! 👍🏻

That fuzz pedal is brutal with the octave on. Very brutal.
I tried this pedal with a strat plus on a blackstar artist 15 and the tone was the sickest ever!!! Seriously good stuff I gotta say

Reminds me of a great video by Phillip Sayce , where he runs some vintage fuzz / octavia into a Yamaha THR... Two of the best Octave Fuzzes Ive ever heard.
Makes you realize that even in the dirtiest, filthiest, naughtiest of tones, so much comes from the fingers! Cause this video is recorded direct, and Sayce's was, I believe, mic'd, but through tiny practice amp...
maybe killer fuzz tones are about finding a pedal that really inspires you and playing with attitude!

Nice sound....I've never owned pedals in my 30 years of playing between piano at a young age to guitars teenage on up I've always just dailed in a amp and pushed a button lol....been line 6 for about 12 years now and just now got a pedal board.

Hey Rabea. I just recently had a surgery in my back and my mom came to my house to help my wife out with chores and cook meals while I recover. I was in the living room playing your vids on the TV and my mom walked by and said ‘Im not super fan of the fro, but I must say, he’s quite a handsome man’. Hahaha. I love this pedal. But unfortunately here in Brazil, due to import taxes, it can cost $424.27.
Nearly 4 years later, did you find the pedal to be a bit hard to tame to be usable ? I also saw your OC-5 vid which looked more tone reliable ? I have the Octahive but it's a bit hard to fit in for me.

I must admit, some of your playing reminds me of Mr Fuzzlord, aka Scott Holiday from Rival Sons. Id defo love to hear some sort of Fuzz shoot out to get you as close to his fuzz tone as possible, especially the tones used on the new album Feral Roots

But I was suggesting a newer, more dedicated video, of trying to achieve his fuzz tone, using any priced fuzz pedals, and just trying out different fuzzes to get the 'Feral Roots' album tone \m/
