Cripple looks less "damaging".
Death and Decay looks less death-ish and decay-ish.
Yeah, both effects look terrific, but don't really suit the spells

3:32 this is but one example but they need to seriously amp up the animation and effects of these abilities and characters more. This new infernal doesn’t even look on fire. Please put flames on him. Even a little bit.

The reforged Warcraft 3 seems to have a lot of unfinished spell effects. For example the frost nova in the reforged version looks dull; and the inferno spell of the dreadlord looks powerless...Can Blizzard really release the game this year?...
A bit worrying as the betas usually last only for 3-4 months. Hopefully they have more time to work on these. I find that less is more. They seem to be redoing a lot of the spells when they only really need a polygon update. The new ones have weird colors/transparency etc. Most of the old ones are far better even though they're almost 20 yrs old.

One reason I loved the Undead is that the Banshee's can poses Peons, Peasants, and Wisps and you can have a Hybrid unit

I think at this point it's better to keep things just under the hood, some people seems to not be able to differentiate a finished product and a work in progress.
The again, the current game industry isn't that helping.
Many of these is clearly unfinished and people is complaining, cmon guys, game is not released
New update dropped today so the video might ne to be re-updated.
well it's not terrible or terrific hopefully with feedback they'll change up some current spells!

the only thing that i am focused on are the remaining cloned models , the rest keep getting better :D , and i like that giant unit, it will be very useful in my custom uman units :D

I do not like that they made the indication of the spell a lot less noticeable with the faded look. It makes gameplay a lot harder when you have to squint your eyes to see a magic resist shield...
While most new spell effects look really lackluster, AMS looks way better than the old one. Seeing Grubby play UD vs UD with mass banshee AMS is a nightmare telling everyone apart when everything has AMS.
I sincerely hope most are unfinished, such as Infernal. Besides that, some of them look quite impressive.

Frostwyrm freeze, osbidian statue remains after transformation into destroyer, gargoyle remains after unpetrifying, were not good.

My final takeaway of the whole undead video and this one was "LITERALLY EVERYTHING IS PERFECT THEY NAILED THE F OUT OF IT! Except the Lich which is worst in almost every way and it sucks cause it's my fav hero" 😣😣😣
(And some of the Dreadlord/Scarab one animations too if I'm being honest)

I'd say about 60% of these are looking worse in Reforged, and 30% look simply unfinished, and 10% are 'ok'.
They'll have to push the release date to next year, I highly doubt they can finish ALL of that + the other things that are left unpolished.

i hope these are not the finished versions ... cause most of the skills arent clear enough. especially banshee's skills , lich's nova , dark ranger's ulti and dreadlord's ulti is way too fast ... bdw i like the new death knight's being a female character .. honestly i wasnt expecting that

Only Stone Form by Gargoyle and spikes by Crypt Lord better. All spells... nah, old always win, because old version have more dark, bright, green. This in new version they are... not impressive, more purple effects.
Also I don’t like, how east ghoul. If old ghoul like realistic can eat with 2 hands, a new ghoul just “crab and eat” like eat “random trash”.
The old effects have better contrast, the new ones have faded color. I especially prefer the old Frost Nova and Death and Decay of Lich.
리포지드 저주스킬 가시성이 더 안좋아졌군요. 오리지널이 선명하게 보여서 리포지드가 문제가 있는 것 같습니다. 대부분의 오리지널 스킬들은 스킬 이펙트가 오래되어 보이지만 가시성이 더 좋고, 리포지드 스킬은 디테일과 부드러움은 좋지만.. 가시성과 강력한 느낌이 없습니다. 언데드 스킬은 의도가 남의 체력을 뺏고 안좋은 것을 뿌리고 사악한 느낌이어야 하는데 일부 리포지드 스킬은 화사한 느낌이 들어서 좋지 못합니다.

New death coil ew. Skull not big enough/defined enough. Abomination and Lich seriously look fucking sick though. FIX THE INFERNAL, THEY DON'T HAVE HOODS. and lol, sylvanas got a unibrow. So dirty blizzard.
Seriously, nearly every spell looks worse. New life drain is marginally better. Examples: death coil outta nowhere (instead of from the sword), death and decay, etc. Infernal is a joke btw
At this time I'm really disappointed! Almost the new unit models looked great, but almost the new spell effects showed here are worst than the old ones.

I know that this are still in beta, but holy shit are this spell effects terrible as fuck. Specially the colors, what's up with the pink effect in every undead buff, debuff and projectiles?

The game is still in development, so they will get better. Still has a couple more weeks left until the game drops. So wait for the game to finish until you can put your opinion in. :)

Reforged sure looks to have lost a bunch of the og's charm. Plus from what i've seen, colors look washed out

Lich first ability looks 1000% worst. Same with dreadlord. like how can you even degrade such good vfx. Also infernal is fucking ugly... I really hope its just unfinished model with no effects.
Very bad all spells should look like old ones, don't make experiments Blizz please... Just add quality like it was in SC1:Remastered, don't experiment.
