Its amazing that this game have so many types of stats, you can make so many builds with it, depending on your play style, at least this part of RPG of the game they done very right
But imo.. the only less 'good' things is when 'bosses' fight.. we couldnt do sneak attack from far away ☹️ i mean all 'bosses' can sense us.. even animal did that..

I took the melee resistance from this build and put it on my assassin/warrior build but I didn’t realize that in order to get the ranged resistance I had to do so the engraving challenges so although I can’t take melee damage I’m extremely vulnerable to arrows. Like one arrow will take off a little over a quarter of my health...so I named my build Achilles Heel 😂😂

You can still recruit Neotekles even when you decide to kill him in the dialogue choice: just knock him out by either finishing him off with a Spartan Kick or a paralyzing arrow or even unarmed combat and you can still get the Epic Spear AND recruit Neotekles at the same time

Yea I’ve stored everything on the ship especially purple items I want to keep. Easy to not delete or breakdown golds but purple to easy to sell or breakdown
Just equip the epic stuff you want to keep around on an unused equipment loadout. There are five overall.
You could put the 30 on the gauntlets if you have lost the spear, still be very very tanky in melee but not bulletproof in ranged. Throw a point or two into regen on hit and you can close that gap pretty easy

I guess an engraving of 15% all resistances on the torso, and more points in the abilities on resistances, could make up for not having the spear.

Ya I had nothing to do with Thaletas and slept with Kyra, I didn’t get The Thaletas Way quest and ended up having to kill him. I guess I’ll have to do this build without the spartan javelin and then get it on new game plus.

I had no room on my ship.. so @lvl50 I went back dismantled and sold any gear under lvl45... this is the second Epic piece I'm finding I threw away that has an original perk

Awesome... I love making tanky builds. I just finally got that Spartan Javelin the other night so I've been able to get to 120% melee resistance. Obviously that's too much so I need to tweak some stuff and balance things. Cool seeing how you're able to get over 100% Melee and Ranged Resistance with this setup! I'm working on that build next after my fire sword warrior. Amazing Super-Tank build!

These videos got me to try to make my own build. So far my warrior build has 100% crit chance and 650% crit damage at full health, and I finally broke 100,000 warrior damage.

This is super helpful in the fields of Elysium. You don’t need the ranger resistance. Only the melee resistance. Apparently the Isu’s moves don’t count as a projectile :)
Choose to kill
Drop a spartan kick when u almost kill him (so he will not die)
and u can both recruit him as ur liutenant and get the spear
Make vampire build ,takes so much health without having to worry about ur health
That would be the achilies set with 5% dmg delt restored as health

This is one of the things Odyssey is superior at compared to Origins or Valhalla - truly amazing and unique builds to suit different playstyles. Valhalla for me was a step in the wrong direction in several areas (though not inherently a bad game by any means), this was one of them.

I’m currently level 53 and after watching this video decided to upgrade and equip the Greek Heroes set to give this a try...and I have to say that it’s so legit! Even without the added 30% resistance of the spear (I haven’t taken the time to go get it yet) I take hardly any damage at all.
Might be important to add that I have +30% armor engraved on two of my armor items and I also put 20 points toward Melee Resistance in the abilities section. But again, even without the added 30% of the spear, upgrading and equipping the Greek Heroes for the melee resistance perk is has cut my damage taken down to almost nothing. Anxious to grab that spear and go to 0 damage aka invincible. Haha! Anyway great vid sir and thanks!
This game offers so much customization of the gears to support different playstyles. They really should have had multiplayer areas as an option. Matchmaking could have been done considering total ability points. It would have been real fun to see different playstyles clash.
I'm guessing I didn't get the quest cause I never met him on a boat, destroyed ships and killed a commander. I did meet Kyra and had a quest to kill her father and then she walked off a cliff killing herself.

if you have trouble finding the Thelatos way, you have to do previous quests to get the thelatos way, go to your ship and look for "trouble in paradise" do that and then progress from there.
Now we just need to find an elemental resistance now and weapon and we’re good to go!
You can also use the falx of Olympus spear with the 100% damage without taking any damage
I know it's much later since you made this video, but, can you do this on levels lower than 99 such as 50 or maybe lower for players that are not close to 99?

If you have the staff of Hermes trismegistus you can get ingore half damage 100 percent easy because of the chance to ignore half damage on the spear
Jordan, I was using this build without the spear for sometime now and still it was almost impossible to die let alone take much damage. I’m level 99 and went back to do game+ just for a nice change. I just finished that quest and did receive the Spartan spear with the exact perks you have. I have a few more ability points than you so the build was insane before and now with the spear, plus 30% spear and 30% melee resistance, now 100%, it’s virtually impenetrable lol. A lot of fun to play to mix things up. Thx for all you do to help the community.👍
I remember I had that set. But i didn’t realize the potential. I just recently bought the game and I’m happy this is out because I’m definitely going to take full advantage of this, but now I gotta go and buy all the soft leather I can 😂
I’ve just got this armor set. Am so happy. Took a long while because of that mercenary who holds the helm: she is a crazy ass strong level 49 with OP poison. I killed her 1 or 2 levels below her. I just burned her to death with my Hades Bow and she flopped in seconds haha. So I have yet to try it out but unfortunately I don’t have good engravings to use. Any ideas on where to find really good ones?
Hey, couldn’t 100% Melee Resistance just be achievable with the Greek Heroes set which already gives us 90% if engraved properly, and the finishing the 10% remaining with some Mastery levels?

All that for something you really don't need. Seems a waste of time. The games very easy already, knowing you can do this is interesting but totally worthless if you actually enjoy playing the game with the risk factor and want a sense of achivement.
Try playing and learning how to use parry for short/range attacks and dodge should be enough to not bother with this.
I've only ever played on nightmare mode and can't help think how unexciting it would be if I didn't risk dying from 1 or 2 hits.
Hugo Wijngaard agree, I think parrying and dodging are the “right” way to play the game. Some people love to collect these “useless” items.
But in single-player RPGs people just find the fun in doing weird stuff. If you’ve played skyrim, there is this fun and less effective build like assassin + illusion mage. Some people enjoy wasting time on items, but they say “time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted”.

I far as points go, after jorRaptor posted that ability points video...I think everyone has enough points now...I also did my very own warrior fire dagger build..
i have noticed on reddit and youtube i have not seen a person mention that you can also fight the guy with the spear and then spartan kick him/knock him out so you are able to recruit him and get his spear. best of both worlds

What engraving did you use to increase the attack damage and what weapons???
Because mine is great in terms of def and health and assasination damage but not warrior damage.
Followed your setup but with Bighorn Bow. Also I used 2 points more in Elemental Resistance completing 60,2 % and engrave twice 20% Elemental Resistance completing 100,2. Now I'm immune even against Medusa. Meaning 100% against incendiary or poison damage too. 💪💪💪
How do you get the mission? I haven't done it yet but the guy isn't there. I've never been on this island

You really should show how/were you got certain things. I’m looking for the engravings and can’t find them. I’ve googled the 30% damage resistance engraving and found nothing. I’m level 50 right now
You get the engravings from the ostrackas.
Then upgrade the engravings at the blacksmith in the cave

Interestingly, despite all the resistances, snakes will still do 1/3 of your Max HP damage per hit regardless. Good thing they only appear in Tombs.
As second weapon aside from the spear put falx of olimpians because you dont take damage health cap means nothing and the you get extra damage

Go after the Agamemnon set pieces. It's doable at those levels, and will change the game for you. Just melt ALL OF THE THINGS with fire.
Why dont you use the 100% dmg but onely 25% hp?
"Edit" you can use the 30% dmg while full hp too so now we got 130% dmg on assassin hunter and warrior

I'm not gonna start a ng++ for a piece of item, i remember this quest, it doesn't even required to talk to him or her (there was a female partner of this man), all you need to do was killing the leader. So, why ubisoft?

Axel arnaud In controls, you need to switch the button that normally when you press it shows for example the objectives for clearing a fort (L3 on PS4) to the same button as your crouch button. The game will say it may change your game experience I believe, but you can just ignore that. Once you have the controls set up, go to a fort and knock down a polemarch (other enemies work too, but polemarchs give the most exp). It’s important to knock him down, and not to kill him. Once he’s knocked down, just keep pressing the crouch button over and over again. This is now the same button as the button for recruiting the polemarch, but thanks to the glitch you will just be tea-bagging the guy, while you still get the exp from ‘recruiting’ the guy every time you press crouch. After a few seconds your exp bar won’t show you getting exp anymore, but you still do. This way, you will literally level up faster than the game can keep up with. If this is unclear, I recommend watching a video Jorraptor made about it.

I followed your directions after killed with Dallwun Knife all the mentioned mercenaries. Then I took the Hades's Bident and get Spartan Javelin. Unlike you, I used the Bighorn Glitche for more Warriors Damage. Result: The Ciclope seemed like a Calf. The White Lion like a Cat. Thanks Brother

To get this quest if you haven’t found out by now you have to do another quest on the island sadly I forgot what it is called but you meet thaletas in the quest so that is why you have to do that quest first hopefully you have already found this out by now I actually had the same problem just yesterday and I figured it out today your welcome

If you use the sword of yumminess ( +250% dmg but no abilities ) you don't have to spend points on abilities and so have extra points to put into elemental resistance. A lot of extra damage and elemental resistance at the cost of abilities.
I can't find the sword but I'll keep looking hopefully i find it
I also recommend trying out the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus with the +30% Damage while Full Health Legendary Engraving it's another way to always ensure full health cause you can heal from the Staff
High note I tried your build as well but for someone like me always causing riots and such the Staff is a huge bonus for city wide crowds😂

I made a build with Spartan war hero set called the "the fiery Sparta build" where basically the build relies on fire and warrior damage and you might as well play doom music with this build In a conquest battle because it's a killing machine

You need to be in a certain part of the story, and you should see it on the quest board on your ship, and you need to side with the Spartan, you'll know what I'm talking about

Around Max level, but you mainly need to Max out your perks so the defence perks with be 30%
I'm having a hard time to gather those green and purple stones and lvl up to 99, and you have thousands, how many playthroughts you have? or you just keep doing contracts?
JordanDoes you can actually knock him out and you can recruit and take the weapon at the same time. Use spartan kick or Paralyzing Arrow to knock him out.

Me too, I already did missions on that island.
When you get to mykonos island, and meet kyra, do not go in and kill podarkes off the bat or do conquest, since its part of the islands it might be activated,i had to meet thaletas in the shipwreck, passed him and did the conquest, and everything dissapeared, just do thaletas spartan quests and you will get these quests, do not do kyras, conquest, leader, go straight to him.

Its a part of Kyra quest to kill the Cultist and when you triger it with finding Kyra you should be able to find it on the map...

@@sgbsgb1728 jep its one of the quests that Kyras "boyfriend" gives to you after you sink 5 ships i think and sends you off to a farm there when you kill them and come to comander its a cut scene and you kill him to get the javelin :)

The Isu-Forged Warrior's Spear that you get in Atlantis is brilliant. I use it with 50% CRIT Damage engraved. Also, I use the Achille's Bow. Forget where I got it. Google, if you want it. It has 25% Hunter Damage. 10% CRIT Chance. The bonus is 20% Damage with Devastating Shot Ability. My engraving is 20% Hunter Damage.
My Hunter Damage is capped in Mastery, as well as my Warrior Damage. Since I prefer kiting over direct combat, it's perfect. My Hunter Damage at Mastery Level 12 is 48,306, which is quite OP.
Now you can go to mayson cave black smith and learn to upgrade melee and rang resistance.
I would use 100 percent crit damage at full health instead of 50 percent. It's worth it because you will be at full health constantly
I got kill by the Vanish skill of a Mercenary while wearing this set and infact at full health, like instantaneously. Bang and synchronize.
I played Alexios in my current game. I've since beatin the game. I know you don't get any incentive to play the new game plus, and I know it's alot of hours for the game, but I've wanted to play Kassandra to get the experience from her perspective as well. Plus it'll give me a chance to collect and keep all the epic gear, including this spear, that I dismantled in the first play through. I dismantled so many epic gear and blue gear in my first play through. I had no idea how special some of the epic gear was, and how much money can be made by selling the blue gear rather than dismantling it. Really want to try some of Jordan's build sets, but I don't have the epic stuff, so it's hard to find gear that's as powerful as his. So off to new game plus I go. Happy gaming everyone
This is probably best armor outside of the epics. I got a lot raw damage on my set. I hardly ever die in a fight with this. I also have Elite Persian and Spartan. Spartan set makes you glass canon.

do you know that I restarted the game from the beginning, after spending about 150 hours on it, BECAUSE OF YOU lol !!!! just to try this build ^ ^ and guess what ,now I do not throw away anything or almost anymore :)
I am glad because you preferred to make a built from the arena set (that i told you to the previous video from legendary set)
