- This year at the Speech and Debate NSDA National Championships, the West LA Violet team went 4-2 in pre-elimination rounds and then survived 6 elimination rounds. In the final round, we won on a 10-3 decision. Here is the journey to getting there :)

It’s @babbacious on TikTok! We filmed tons of TikTok’s throughout the tournament :) We didn’t really film the other rounds because most judges preferred us not to, but our final round is linked in this video’s description if you want to see it!

valley high school was a very confusing school to navigate LOL, and the arena was the worst place to prep imo😭😭

I just wanted to ask how they judged who won that final debate. I'd really appreciate it if you could give me an answer. I just started debating a couple of months ago, and today, I watched your final debate from 2022 to learn from it.
what do you mean by how they judged, like their methodology? If you literally me how a winner was decided than there was a panel of unbiased judges picked (I think there were 13 judges in this round) who voted for the team they think won.
Was the guy at 3:00 a former LD debater cause i could never ever talk that fast.
