Exploring the river in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia

Welcome back to a brand new adventure! This time, I made my way to Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. I was curious about what was in the river running through the town. I learned a few weeks ago that the harbour in Glace Bay is quite muddy and silty with the visibility being not great, so I started upstream.
While I didn't find anything of any significance, I did take out a bag of garbage which felt good and was impressed by the cleanliness of the water. I also met a few local residents who were very kind and gave me information on where to go next!

Found a few big pennies in Renwick Brook (the "river") dated between 1910 and 1918, back in the 70's. Seemed impossibly old to me at the time - now, not so much 😄

Just got home from spending 10 days in NS, NB and PEI. I’m totally spoiled for eating seafood now, it was all so fresh and delicious! And the beauty of Nova Scotia cannot be explained in words. Just breathtaking.
