    Even-though this is an older version of the software, seeing how the files should 'look' when applying them to a folder helps tremendously. This helped me place the correct "dolphin 64" folder into the correct directory folder; instead of the greater unzipped dolphin folder.

      I highly suggest setting up your emulators before importing your roms. Then only upload one game that you have played separately before for a test.

    You are so fucking cool! so useful! slow enough to make it feel i can't mess up or be at all flustered. So easy to follow. Thank you for taking the time to be so patient with all of us and show us the right way. Not seeing a pause menu only being able to pause with F10 but considering i can play basically anything i'll take that slight loss.

    Hello Unbroken and ETA!
    Is there a way to use a real Nintendo GameCube controller with a WiiU GC controller adapter to work in L-Box/B-Box?
    I got a ton of real controllers I would like to use but no controllers work. In the options of L-Box there under controllers I have turned on "Enable Game Controllers" and "Use All Attached Controllers" but only Xinput controllers seems to work, but none of my real PS4/PS3 controllers, Wiimotes, GC Controllers or fake N64 USB controllers works out of the box.
    For my PS4 controller I use DS4Windows, but it does not work with any of the other controllers obviously. So is there a way to make them the others work with as little time and effort as possible, like drivers to install for for LaunchBox etc?
    I realize this is a pretty old tutorial, but I can't really find much reliable info to my problem anywhere (except some shady links on the web I never heard of).
    And thanks for these tutorials, they've helped a lot for my setup!

    • @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC
      @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC  Před 2 lety +1

      If a controller's button presses is being registered by Windows, then there's a really good chance it will work just fine in Big Box. However, there are programs out there that you can check out, that can convert those button presses to xinput, to give you a more seamless experience. Check out programs like x360ce

    I imported 889 games in .wbfs format and launchbox found images for only one of the games lol not looking forward to renaming 888 files.

    • @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC
      @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC  Před 3 lety +1

      LaunchBox uses the names of either the file or folder to determine a match within the LaunchBox GamesDB. Some of those wbfs names can be dirty, using the GameID instead of the title of the game. You don't have to change this manually. Just use a program like the Wii Backup Manager, and set it to change the names of your games based on title.

    • @soundsonline796
      @soundsonline796 Před 3 lety

      @@UnbrokenSoftwareLLC Yes all my games I ripped myself and were recorded as the game ID. Wii backup manager will only rename your games if you are transferring them to another drive. Useless if you dont have a drive with enough space to transfer them to. I tried it tonight before your reply. Launchbox is definitely not picking up names from the folders because all my folders are named correctly. It took the names straight from the .wbfs file

    • @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC
      @UnbrokenSoftwareLLC  Před 3 lety

      Yes, you are correct, you will need to copy the files somewhere in order to rename them. However, if each game is inside of a folder with the correct name, make sure you check the "Use folder names instead of ROM file names for game titles" option during the import wizard.

    • @soundsonline796
      @soundsonline796 Před 3 lety

      @@UnbrokenSoftwareLLC oh I didn’t know about that option. That will probably resolve it as all my folders are named correctly. Appreciate the fast reply.
