Just taking a ride on a sunny day at a beautiful place in a beautiful car. Perfect music. I had a black one in the late 1980s. it was painted and upgraded and about the best-looking car I could ever hope for in my tax bracket. I'd take it down the PCH to Santa Cruz. Beautiful. Same color as the one I had. Sounds great, too. Although I'd probably prefer less of the hub flare as it resembles a Porsche a bit too much, I do love the custom front and rear. The seats are straight up gorgeous.
I purchased a 76...280z in 95 from a fellow that built n raced ultralight planes n helicopters. Yep, he liked to go fast. He hotrod'd the 280z also....it turned up like a 2stroke dirt bike. Hell....it didn't start running good until I reached 85...90mph. Me Buddy n I were tooling around doing bout 70mph up a 6mile Hill with sum nice curves. He turned to me and said...."you told me that this car was fast" so I drop down to 2nd n punched it. At 90 I shift to 3rd and it leaped to 135 after that I quit looking at the gauges n hit my lines perfectly. My friend was dead silent.....but smiling like a MoFo. Damn near every wkend I would cruise from Tacoma to mt.Rainier.....loop around to Seattle n back home to N.E Tacoma. So, I went to Wa.State to visit my sister at Christmas time. I wound up staying l0yrs. I flew home on Christmas day.... I did donate my hotrod to a single mother I was dating.at the time. That was 2001. Sure wish I still had it. I removed all the badges on the outside of car. Even had a few people ask if it was Italian made when I'd rev it hard. Sounded like a racecar most times. ZOOM Zoom. 🏆🥇😈😎
