also an extension of duocons ( which arguably overlord was ) according to some lore digging i did apparently a failed experiment in making a triple changer that instead of being able to switch between 2 like blitzwing's tank and jet were 2 vehicles that merged into one robot
Haven't been the biggest fan of modern transformers but this last couple waves have been tempting me. I used to have a magmatron as a kid so might be nice ti have him back in an updated format
I do believe Big Convoy is teased on Magmatron box so he is definitely coming and he definitely is definitely a sight to see especially compered to the other commanders though Armada Optimus Prime is still my favorite commander .
If I didn't have a burning hatred for Hasbro right now, (Power Rangers fan,) I would buy three of these guys to display in all three modes but, they ain't getting my money anymore.

Much like you, I never had the toy as a kid/teen but I wanted it and now seeing the comparison shots, I would definitely get the upgrade
Not since Jetfire have I felt a toy was worth its commander price point that ive experienced until this

This release gives me hope that we get a new Magnaboss. I had a lot of those toy only Beast Wars figures as a kid, so I'd love new versions of them.

I always find it strange that people dont know what to call Magmatron exactly, but like Duocons exist so why not just call him a Triocon?
