These have been grail status since 06. The thunder/lightning pack was/are still sick. Crazy that the entire collection originally retailed for $500. 😊🤦🏻♂️. I passed on the 2012 retro. Didn’t like the suede upper. Can’t wait for finally grab a pair next month. 😁

The Jordan 4 has to be one of my favourite silhouettes from Jordan. Love this colourway, and would love to eventually pick these up with the lightning 4s.

@Jennifer Morgan 4s with a sail color was definitely not gonna brick. I respectfully disagree especially with it being the most comfortable 4s with the extra cushioning.
@@paullucas6275 I agree with sail color and the comfortability of it but I don't agree with the green accent with the gum combo,imo it's ugly,if it was more of neutral color,I would cop in a heartbeat....but like I said all I see is hype,I can't get past liking these.

They were originally $500, because you had to buy the jacket with them. The original Lightning 4’s were $250 because they came with a white T Shirt

Fun fact: the first batch of these 2023 editions had white stitching on the toe but because of complaints, nike decided to go original with the black stitching

The 4s are definitely a timeless shoe!! Legendary. I got these from my cousin for 150.00 .. he wore them a couple times and sold em to me. They are fire.!!

I felt the same way when I bought my 2012 thunder 4 and then the lightening came out in 2021 and I legit said I can’t believe I have both pairs lol an awesome feeling only a sneakerhead would understand lol not sure if I should pick these up since my 2012 are literally crispy

What kind of insoles does this shoe have? I heard you mention the mid soles being Polly earthen. Can you please tell me what the kind of insoles the shoe has please. I love the removable jelly ones the best. My unc 4s and yellos 4s have but my jordan 4s infrared dont have :(. Thank you :)

Coming from someone that was born in 1981 (me) and watching Jordan play in person and on tv in the early/mid to late 90’s, I don’t get the overhype of the 4’s. He absolutely accomplished nothing in them. Give me the 6’s, 12’s and 13’s all day. FYI, those mentioned shoes are title years. Love the reviews though.

I remember when I was young and I saw a pair of fake Jordans they always had weird color ways. Nowadays it seems like Jordan started copping old fake Jordans when it comes to their color ways.

Those are gorgeous. Like a new love version Jordan 4.
For me not many must cops the rest of the year or at least in the next few months ; but I am definitely going for these Thunder 4s. As much as i love 4s , the lineup of 4s in 2023 is a bit weak imo (especially compared to the J4s in 2022) but these 4s stand out considerably imo. Hopefully we do not have widespread QC issues like the Red Thunders (i do worry we might) but that aside def one of the Js i want most in 2023 and likely the best GR AJ4 of 2023 as well.
SB 4s? Definitely better than these
@@paullucas6275 quality and materials yes SB x AJ4s are superior but colorway i think Thunders are much better. I meant GR 4s anyway not a collab.
@Andrew 7 7 ehhh I respectfully disagree. These are good and I'm definitely going for these but I don't think these are messing with the SB 4s
@@paullucas6275 to each their own , its all about opinion in the end. For me i prefer the way the black and yellow hits over white and green , so i personally prefer the Thunder 4 colorway. But quality and materials AJ4 x SB is way better. Though i don't think its a fair comparison anyway , i was talking about GR / general release AJ4s , not collabs which is the category AJ4 x SB falls into.
