criminally underrated series. What I Love about Indiana Jones and particularly the young Indiana Jones series was that fascination in kindled with history. Now later as I got into my teens the grittiness of history both shocked, fascinated me. When I read books like Sharpe, The Saxon Tales and Conn Iggulden's books I was nearly traumatised by the way women were treated, how much rape and stuff happened but I was thrilled by heroic characters and adventure stories set in the real world. However Young Indiana Jones is a great series that eludes but never crosses that line of grittiness appealing to everyone, while keeping fun adventure story going. Now a days despite how much I love shows like Sopranos, GOT, Vikings and Last Kingdom every series feels like it needs to include Rape or massive amounts brutality to be entertaining. While if it's that kind of story I can respect it when it's needed but I would like to see somethings made for fun and adventure again.
I asked my mum to buy me the whole series on dvd as my 16th birthday gift. I then binged and fell in love with the series and I’m sad that nobody talks about how great Young Indy is, but instead complain about how bad Crystal Skull was.
Hey! That’s great man! I hope your first viewing experience is as life changing for you as it was for me! Here’s a link if you’re interested in watching the entire series on CZcams for free. czcams.com/play/PLVHwajtDt4lfcB2q7bSotSyio-YqCBHaQ.html
I learned more about history from this and my parents and I learned a lot and the whole franchise helped me find GOD and I see it a lot of history repeat itself today. Thank you Mr. Lucas!
George is a damn genius and one of the best in the business. Fact.

He should of done a Young Han Solo series for tv. Lol
He and Lawrence Kasdan had planned a Young Han Solo film for years and well, it became Solo in 2018.
