Great budget card for 2019, but for 2016 it was a serious gpu. This video card is $279 before tax here in Ontario, was back in early March anyways. I know before i upgraded my GtX 750 to the Gtx 1050 Ti OC, that i was playing AAA games from 2015-16 on medium/high settings @50 fps when in 1920X1080 (1080p) again with the 750. Now when i installed the 1050 i noticed a major power increase from the 750. The same games i was now playing on high (never bothered with ultra) but i was now getting at least 60-70 fps in 1080p. In 3840X2160 on medium/high i get 30-35 fps which is still playable. The sweet spot is 1440p on medium/high @ 40 fps.

it's a Mi8/Radeon R9 nano instict. I know very well that it could not be, but I do it anyway, I ask in case anyone knows about some software settings, BIOS or on the AMD panel or some setting / technology developed within the game settings (in addition to low details) to make the card go better in 1440, make the vram work better or try not to saturate.

But the thing u have to realize with the 1050 (more so the 1050ti) is that you get console level performance with it. I have it on a laptop. It's awesome. Before this 15fps was standard for me. So. I bought Asus tuf fx505dt ryzen5 16gb ram and been playing diablo3 for 4days. The performace was good in terms of speed, thermal and multitasking. However ive experinced logging in the game and sometimes it got frozen in the middle of the game and you need to restart it cuz cntrl alt tab wont help. even though its already plugged in the eithernet. Battery life was so bad. In gaming it lasted only 56min. CZcams and some paperworks it lasted 1hr 40min So i decided to swap it with MSI gf63. The performace is awesome. No more loggings, the speed is almost the same as asus. Battery life is way longer. Meaning if you want to do stuff other than playing games without plugging in it would last 5hrs.
