Hey Max, if you ever return to NYC, I recommend two other places that sell video games. One is BookOff, which they buy and resell figures, books, video games. There was one actually close to J&L on 45th St between 6th and 5th Ave. Another BookOff that is more Manga and figurine focused but do sell retro Japanese games and consoles is in Japan Village (Industrial Village) on 934 3rd Ave in Brooklyn. The last video game store is special but small, called Brooklyn Game Shack (a hidden gem) at 503 84th St in Brooklyn. Would love to see your reactions to seeing you visit those locations.
I completely forgot about BookOff! I think I may be returning to NYC next year we’ll see though.
