There are. But they generally flow over land with little vegetation because it has already been destroyed by previous lava flows. Also people don't build towns in the path of lava courses so it doesn't make the news.

Ever since the early to mid 70's there's been a facility, called HELSTF or High Energy Laser Test Facility. It's a good sized complex, situated in the south central area of WSMR. That is at least one of the open air laboratories that researched and made possible the modern anti-missile defense systems you see on navy ships. I can only imagine what else has been derived from that same research. A few years ago, there was reports of hundreds of thousands of different breeds of wild birds, both migratory and non-migratory birds that died, seemingly all at the same time. The burned-out car near Lahaina, clearly showed an aluminum wheel had melted, the trashed wheel lead to a trail of solidified puddles flowing down the slope. You'd assume it was all tied into houses that had been burned to the ground. There WERE houses, on all 4 siides, but not a single house showed slightest signs of fire. Arson? Yep. Kids playing with matches? Nah: DEW, darlings.

@@tamaramcbride4187 House fires can be well above the 1200F required to melt aluminum, but a regular house fire is not usually hot enough to melt the wheels of cars, but I have been in a fire like these and it almost burned the registration papers in the glove compartment of my Jeep. I had to floor it just to get out alive and I was in the middle of the road well away from any houses. The fire jumped the road and started to burn houses more closely to us.

Hi, I happen to see video footage of the ring fires surrounding entire coastline of the island of Maui and the one next to Maui, and boats in the water on fire. I've been in CA fires set by the Arsonist during the 80's. And several L.A. fire trucks and firefighters from Alaska were fighting the fires in the canyon my friends and myself were in one of the burning canyons. The firefighter on my friend's property did a controlled back burn, it wasn't a fire of natural cause but, still I've never seen a perfect fire burn in a ring like those islands and it be natural cause fire. ??? and how did every boat around the 2 islands catch fire? ??? with all the missing children and entire families, is this possibly Genocide of those that could possibly be lay claim to the homes/land destroyed. The sea was strangely calm while hurricane winds enveloped the city. Does that not strike people as strange. Or that the ‘wild fire’ was incredibly selective of what it did and didn’t burn. Wild fires do not reach cremation level degree of heat yet that is what occurred here
I looked at the map. The hurricane was 700 miles SE from Maui and moving west. The wind came from the East side of Lahaina, if I remember correctly, in Uphill Lahaina. That doesn't make sense to me!

Wildfires can reach temps in excess of 2000 F. Aluminum has a melting point of 1221 F, car fires routinely burn at temps exceeding 1500 degress. Jam a bunch of vehicles together full of gasoline together and the temps rise exponentially.
