Battlehawks fan here but i got to be honest both teams played some great football. I really like this UFL football, Congrats to the Stallions awesome win but the Panthers have nothing to be ashamed of i'm proud of the UFL I really like the way this league is playing.

I was thinking the same thing. I couldn’t believe the LT. I’m not saying I would do better at all. But his awareness and play understanding is below average.
@@xXFRANCO7118Xx they seemed committed to making the O-Line play in Madden look realistic XD. That being said, there's a reason why good O-linemen rarely enter free-agency. Their aren't many really good ones, and If you have a good one, you lock them down for basically their entirely careers. In terms of just the raw size, it's such a small subset of the population, and then to get someone who's that size and also extremely athletic and coordinated?
Before you even start getting to actually football ability, it's already a tiny fraction, of a tiny fraction, of a tiny fraction, of potential people. Like most people will go their entire lives and never come across someone like Terron Armstead in person. That guy measured in at the NFL combine at 6'5 306Lbs and ran a 4.71 40m dash.
There were only like 5 OT's in the combine this year who even got under 5 seconds, and none of them went under 4.9. But yeah not many guys with those kind of physical traits, size, and also the awareness/talent at the position to play at the highest levels.
Basically the talent floor for many other positions is a whole lot higher than where it is with O-linemen just due to what statistical anomalies the ppl who play those positions are. There are a lot more body types which are a lot more common which will work at RB, WR, LB, CB, and even QB. Even if some are still rare for different reasons.

Stallions vs BHawks is going to be a QB shootout between Corral and McAaron. Plus that kicker Bates is literally setting himself up to make millions right before our eyes. He’s got insane range, which appears to be laser straight accuracy wise.
I believe this has the potential to become a great epic rivalry of the UFL ….2 very good and well coached teams loaded with talent…very similar strengths and scoring abilities imo.

Birmingham is extremely well coached. Having Martinez backing up Coral is a solid pair of QBs. The kicker for Michigan will be in the NFL soon. Back-to-back 64 yarders last week; 62 and a 52 yarders this week. Michigan needs some offensive line help. Way too many free rushers, especially on that last drive. Fun football to watch. I wish there were more fans showing up at the games (with the exception of St. Louis where they pack they stadium).

The Michigan Panthers to me was an interesting choice to keep in the UFL as the starting 8 teams but I’m happy they kept them! I think their fan base will grow stronger 💪 with a good start in the season.
Keeping the Panthers was a no brainer. They had a stadium.
It's equal parts hilarious and depressing that it could be argued the Lions didn't make it to the SB because their kicker couldn't be trusted to make a FG in the mid 40s distance (or so I have been told by a surprising amount of Detroit fans) and then a random dude in the UFL playing for a team in Detroit goes out there and makes 60 yards FGs in back to back weeks as if it is nothing.

@@NineballChrisit won't though. They aren't built for that. They would need a few things. Owners being one. There is no money in this league so that is why it's a stepping stone to the NFL.
The infrastructure would have to be wildly different for them to be a realistic competitor to the NFL to even get college players to consider only playing in the UFL much like Jim Kelly and others did back in the late 80s.

When you see players actually choosing the UFL than the NFL, then it has arrived. That's a long time from now though.

12:51 #77 saw the outside rusher but decided to double team some other guy lol. Its like he thought the inside rusher was more of a threat than the outside rusher. What a let down :( He had to see him out there ready to rush but just didn't do anything about it. Shame on the mess!!!!

It's not all the quarterback's fault. Michigan's O line needs help. It's hard for the quarterback if he has no time to throw the ball and always has to run from the defense. It looked like #77 on Michigan's O line let his man through a lot. I am saying this as a casual observer that had no dog in this fight

Dude, I don't know why they keep subbing out corral for this martinez guy. Martinez can run, I'll give him that, but that's all he does. And yeah, Corral can make some mistakes, like the interception at the last minute, but at least let him play for a whole quarter before benching him. I guarantee you that next week Martinez will be starting, then play bad, then finally be benched for Corral, and once Matt makes a single mistake, Martinez will be starting again. Swear Corral should've signed with any other team.
I think Mat it's still recovering from not playing for a long time, that's the reason he didn't play more. Certainly he needs play more
Taking Corral out is missed opportunities. Hell you could even say the interception was from him pushing too much to make a play to stay in the game. Maybe he tucks it and runs or throws it away if he was confident he be back next series.

I love that the UFL lets the players play the game, they let some hard hits slide which I think is great. But honestly the players seem to try harder. Bates is having a great career start, the QB for Birmingham looks great too. cant wait to see the direction some of these storylines go. Nice to see some football. Go Battlehawks though.

Why were the back-up QB's in and out of the game on both teams?
Michigan Panthers OT#77 cost them that game. He missed blocks and blocked the wrong man all game; he just looked overmatched and lost out there. I would be surprised if he is still on the team next week. He is a liability out there.

i wish they wouldn't hype up bates' kicks everytime. like the 62 yarder i get, very very impressive kick. but that 53 yarder, while still a good kick, it's one most kickers should be able to hit. many do miss, but it isn't like you go into this saying "there is no way he is gonna make this" like i think most people would when someone is going attempting 64 yards out. it's a good kick but i think hyping it up as if he is doing something incredible is a bit much lol.

They will expand to 12 next year if it does well & then 16 after that. It’s expensive to run a 16 team league but they needed to merge because they were dividing each others tv audience
The league is a lot more talented than before they will expand after this season
It costs too much money and currently the UFL is taking a constant loss of millions of dollars. They need to start heading towards profitability before they dump too much extra money they can't afford.
