A famous reggae singer is in shock following a series of events that took place at his grandmother's wake and has taken to social media to voice his thoughts and concerns. This incident mirrors many others like it that has happened in Jamaica in recent times as gunmen are rampant and heavily armed and are doing as they please across the island.

My deepest condolences to Christopher Martin and his family , and to the friends and family at the wake i hope you all will get justice and whoever did this will get caught 😢 at a wake what Jamaica is coming to .our Island is a very nice place and now even our very own people is afraid to come home let's not do this killing any more especially at a wake and funeral this is where we have visitors and this is not a good look on our Island let's stop this Jamaica bring back the love for one and all killing and shooting is not the answer .

Many of my friends who had no desire to migrate to 🇺🇸🇯🇵🇬🇧🇨🇦etc have left for work or just to get their children out of there,we would rather live in Jamaica but we have realize the Jamaica of the 60s 70s 80s 90s is long gone while it was not perfect back then the % of insane individuals was way less cant really blame the people too much as there is so much trauma so much mental illness the church indoctrination did help in keeping most in-line but the new generation is not as susceptible to the church programming ,tech has a lot to do with this and a lack of solid leadership.

I do not know if I can even really blame poverty or a lack of resources,as I am often times forced to compare the fact that Japan was leveled by a world war but today is one of the most advanced countries. The minds of the majority of Jamaican people are broken there is no easy fix. Talk talk politics same nonsense over and over not getting any better for the Jamaicans outside the 21 families who control Jamaica.
We are deeply saddened to hear that things have not gotten any better as we would really love to go back to Jamaica and walk our local streets go to our local beaches and rivers just live the simple life.
