Excellent video. It is time for the world to know that there are tiara collections outside Europe that can rival or even more valuable than some of the Europe royal family tiaras. The Meiji tiara is more impressive that the girls of Great Britain tiara of Queen Elizabeth 11 with its huge diamonds in the top. The biggest at the center is said to be 22 carats. The most valuable diamond, emerald and ruby tiaras belong to crown jewels of Iran. Brunei and Dutch has also magnificent selections. The two most valuable crowns in the world belong to UK.

This video is such a treat! I must have some royal blood in me somewhere since I am so drawn to these beautiful tiaras. My favorite is the chrysanthemum but I'm partial to it since I'm a November baby. What touched me the most though was the beautiful love story of Princess Mako abdicating her royal title to marry the love of her life. May they live in happiness and wedded bliss.

Well done video! Very informative. The Japanese Imperial Family has fantastic taste in jewelry. However, you can't go wrong with Mikimoto.

I appreciate the information and visuals, but the cheesy music is unnecessarily distracting.

Omg, please don't mention K Komuro. He is considered the eye of the storm and is a taboo exisntence who could destroy the Imperial family. His family has too many problems and has had three suicides for one reason or another. When Princess Mako and he married, they didn't have the public's trust and blessing, held a press conference that the public resented, and fled to NYC without the dowry which has been the tradition for princesses when they leave the Imperial family after marriage. That was a sad scandal.
And yet, the video itself is utterly mesmerising and fascinating. 😊

Japan is the 4th largest economy in the world. UK is the 6th. They were used to be the richest nation on earth 1980's to early 1990's with GDP more than the United States. Japan does consist of several islands but rather small. King Charles should have the title of Emperor.

Seriously.......If this is a ONE BILLION DOLLAR JEWELRY COLLECTION, I want my one billion dollar back. Apart from these tiaras that were purchased in Europe by the Japanese Imperial family back in the late 1800s or early 1900s, the new tiaras made by Japanese jewelers are not worth a fart or a breeze. They are ugly and are made with diamond paves and are artistically ugly.
