@@marialoisnuelan4580 so basically when she was younger and released some of her albums she was under contract with someone or something, and then they stole the rights to her albums and wouldn’t even sell them to her. So she ended up rerecording some of those songs and this time she owns them completely.

In the original, it was about the girl next door thinking about the popular guy next door, who was actually a decent dude. In this, it's the older version of the girl next door seeing this same guy years later and thinking about what could've been, rekindling those same feelings she had.
It was relevant more than 10 yrs ago and it will still be relevant for the next century thats how powerful this song is

I just relisten Ed to the original and I can hear how young her voice is in the first version. Actually I love this one better!
