Great job on the glam Pier 1 inspired project, it's gorgeous. The man cave swag turned out great too.You use all those elements and make it all come together and look awesome in stead of looking like a mish- mash. Concerning Christmas styles, I love all of them. If I could only choose one it'd be retro 1940s to mid century. I've been into silver, white and pink Christmas trees for a few years now. BUT I love traditional too. The current buffalo check coupled with woodsy/rustic/woodland is something I adore too. Throw in a bit of prim/country too. I wish I only liked one style b/c it's hard to settle one a decor them when you love so many. I tend to do the same thing for a few years in a row, to keep it simple and b/c I currently have limited storage. I'm a paper crafter so I can spread my wings there.

Everything is gorgeous, I think my favorite is the swag. I have a white flocked tree with pastels pink and green/blue. I go for the elegant look. I also love traditional colors. My living room is pretty much all white, so elegant there. I try not to overdue things because I start feeling claustrophobic and I tend to get tired of it. Sprinkling a bit of all of it around.🎄🎄🎄
My favourite was the large gold ornament that you glammed up with the ribbon and lace! It’s so simple but makes a big statement which I love! Great ideas and DIY’s as always! 🎀 Do you have any plans to do more diy ornaments for trees or decor?? I would love to see some more ideas with the pink Christmas, winter wonderland and sugar plum fairy Christmas! 😊

I really like the swag that you made. It's a departure from your normal pastel pink, but very pretty. There is so much to look at on the swag; just beautiful. I also was so inspired by your Dollar Tree Christmas Trees that I made four for my grandchildren. I made a pink, teal, purple, and green tree and had so much fun filling them. I really like the white wreath and I have everything to make it. I also like the swag. I like traditional decorations but I have all different types of trees from tinsel, to woodland pine to traditional.

I love rustic chic and farmhouse woodland but also I love those angel wings in white and rosegold and gold. They are very beautiful. I love those. So I was thinking the red and black with the white large bell ornaments and the white wings and white deer with maybe a few owls and rustic ornaments. Red and white ribbon. Try to mix the white angel wings in with the gold and the white deer and the white birds. But I don't know yet. I'm sorry. I love everything to look elegant and really put together. I love my tree. I paid too much for it but I really love it. It's a slim one 7 1/2 foot. Lights already on. But they are a little bigger than normal lights. AGAIN.... I just love love love love everything you do!!! I just wanted to tell you what I did with one of those little red trucks..... I actually painted mine pink with a small detailed brush and did the wheel fender things a little darker pink and then I used glitter on it. But first, I took the tree off and added more, cuter rhinestones {as ornaments and then a little rhinestone star on the top} then glued it back on!!! When my daughter still lived at home, we always used the same tree every year {we got it when my daughter was really young so she had become attached to it, even though I had no clue lol, so when I tried to get a new one, she freaked out, like I was replacing a member of the family lol} then I only used a 4' pink tree because I didn't really have room for a large one... So, THIS YEAR, I ordered an 8' WHITE tree {that should be here today} and I'm so excited. But, yesterday, I was at Walmart looking for those .97 cent pink ornaments and there were ZERO ornament at that price... and my hubby was with me as I walked through Walmart with big o silent tears 😢 in my eyes {which liked to have killed him lol}. Anyhoo, sorry for the novel but this red buffalo plaid reminded me to tell you, in case you didn't see at your Walmart, in the clothes section they had some LEGGINGS in that exact print! I'm going to a different Walmart today in search of those ornaments and I just might have to grab a pair of those leggings. And by the way, our dollar tree STILLLLLLL don't have the scarves, probably because we still have the ac on. Lol 😂
My Dollar Tree doesn't have the scarves either! The manager of my 2 closest stores hates to see me coming because she knows what I will be asking. lol

@@vickinoeske1711 we found one not too far from us with 36 isles 😱😱😱😱 I was in DOLLAR TREE HEAVEN. But still no scarves. We are in the Houston TX area and we still have the ac on so people around here probably don't even have COATS unless they go hunting or something away from here. So a scarf may NEVER appear in ours.
I actually thought of going online and buying the case of 36 (3 different designs) and just returning the ones I didn’t use to our local store so others could benefit! There are plenty of other items I could exchange them for since they don’t usually give you your money back! However, I don’t think the buffalo plaid was an option! 🤷🏻♀️

I like to incorporate a little bit of each style sometimes without going overboard + every year I used to buy Christmas stuff so after a while there is only so much you can store!!!!! I don’t understand how pier 1 gets away with charging those enormously inflated prices. Sure SOME of their items are cute/beautiful but the prices are ridiculous. Your wreath is a definite pretty dupe for pier 1’s wreath. 🌸

Hi Olivia. Love the Man Cave Wreath ! Def gonna try to make that type ( mixing greens, stems& wrapping different ribbons & adding embellishments with a different style & colors. I love all kinds & try to do some new things each yr. I am wanting to do some brights & modern colors & some soft romantic w/ the pastels & white.I am making a White, Silver & Ice Crystal Wreath with Glass Sugared Berries, Frosted Silver Snowflakes & a Snowy Owl in a Nest With a Silver Bow. I used to do a lot of Victorian Type Decor, Lg. Tree w/a Blue Spruce, Off White & Cream w/Mauve, Greens & Maroon ( Roses & Pointzettias, & White Berries, & mixed with a lot of Gold, & Frosted (sugared) or Painted Gold Fruits, Ornaments & Cherubs, Angels, Victorian Snow Children, Santas & the same style & colors for centerpiece on table, awags, garlands & candle wraps & wreaths. I always had Angels on top of my trees that lit up! Then I switched to smaller trees for my smaller place & did a sm. Silver Tree w/Blue & Silver Ornaments & White Lights & a Silver Star on top, a Green Tree w/Multi Colored Mixed Ornaments w/White Lights & An Anget on Top, and a sm. Wooden Tree with Mini Ornaments w/ an Angel on top. Then I got another Mini Tree, & did Pastels with Candies & a Pouffy Bow on top. Then I did a mini Blue & White Snowman tree. I don't recall the top on that one- maybe a silver star. Then I started to do Fairy Villages with my reg. Houses & Bldgs. & the Fairy Stuff all mixed in w/some Gingerbread Style Candy Type Houses too. I had a Gated Mirror like for a vanity table which I used as a skating rink & decorated it w/lights, fake food to 1 side, a snowman, a wagon w/toys & other stuff. Tree in the center of the village & groups & gathering of different sizes of fairies according to which kind they were. 1 village of Fairies was sitting outside gathered around a fire to keep warm. And lots of lights of all different colors everywhere; on the bridge, on trees & all over. The rink was all lit up too. I added Trees, there was a Farm with Pigs, Horses, Sheep, Chickens & a Cow. Dogs & Cats, Woodland Animals, Baby Fairies, Colored Hair Fairies, Mini Ones, Fancy Ones, Lg. Ones & Decorations, Presents, etc. I change styles with my decor, (mostly trees & wreaths) & I do something new each yr. & I also add to my Fairy Village all yr. Long.
I am always finding something I can use to make stuff or buy to use in any kind of Fairy Garden inside or out & love it. I have Halloween & Autumn stuff & Christmas stuff for it. Nothing for Valentine's Day or Easter because I can't have it up all yr. long. Maybe someday. I do have 2 baskets hangingbut ran out of flat greenery to finish covering the ground - Michael's is expensive & DT ran out- so I have to wait until Spring- hoping they still get some the same again.Then I can Fill them w/ Fairy Garden Stuff & have cascading Ivy & other plants around the edges hanging down- maybe Fuchias. Oh, Olivia, you outdid yourself in this video. Love the gold bulb decoration, its just so lovely. And the mancave wreath, its absolutly perfect. I picked up that cute little red truck at the Dollar Tree yesterday too. It is so adorable. I am slowly getting into Christmas decorations. Have lots of spray painting to get done. Getting all the things together, and going to have them all on a tarp on the patio. If it stops raining here long enough.

Good morning beautiful Liv💕😘🤗 your hair first of all😍 I'm seriously jealous girl! I'm loving all of these ideas 😜 The man cave swag was my fav that's a really cute idea! I had the three trees last year . The white with mainly blues but pinks and purples thrown in with blue lights. That tree has everything mixed in but it comes out so beautiful and photographs and looks the prettiest at night and from outside. I make it look very frosty. My remembrance tree has mixed metallics and mostly angel ornaments and the other is huge green with gold, burgundy and red more traditional with farmhouse but also just whatever I love on there. My dilemma this year is that my livingroom last year was neutral and this year it is very eclectic but elegant with mixed metallics, teals, navy and green and I don't think the red will look the best. I also bought a huge vanity that's sitting where my blue tree was in my second story window. Im thinking about doing the large tree blue and flocking it with the snow but gahhhh that's going to have me buying and buying again and I have sooo much Christmas stuff HELP😂😂😂 but seriously ha! Oh my sugar, I am praying for you. So sorry you are in pain. I am also doing some new colors this year. My biggest tip is thrift store ornaments and painting ornaments. You can also fake a change with ribbon. I seriously am obsessed with Christmas, lol. I should not be allowed to buy more ornaments

I love all of the DIY'S in this video, but using the trees to make a swag base is brilliant. I am a over the top Christmas decor person, and decorate every room in the house. I usually do rustic glam decor in the main areas, which is easy since we live in a log house, so it is half way there to begin with. I am changing the Christmas tree in the kitchen this year to more of a playful elf theme. Can't decide what I'm going to do with the gingerbread decorations I had been doing in there. Any ideas on maybe mixing the two together? Our bedroom is the only room I don't use traditional colors in, sticking to sage, cream and gold and using upscale elf fairy things in there. It isn't easy to find elf fairy items, but the search is half the fun. The other half is finding the perfect elf and adding fairy things like wings to it. I don't know what my deal is - I fell in love with elves a few years ago and can't get enough of them. Thank you for all the inspiration you have given me and others who watch your videos. Thank you for your sweetness and kindness which just radiate from the videos, it is so appreciated in a world where rudeness and viciousness seem to permeate our society with increasing frequency everyday. I would recommend using a foam wreath base and white satin ribbon wrapping it around the foam until the green isn't seen. You can get said forms at the dollar tree as well. You can also get the ribbon there, the foam makes it seem more professional and the ribbon gives it a cleaner look.
