This is a very nice song. I question the "good taste" of the lyrics, however. Merely changing the motif lyrical phrase "keep me in one piece" to something more poetic, symbolic, such as "keep me in my piece" may kill two birds with one stone--popularising the song to a larger audience, and inviting greater interpretative possibilities. Is the singer talking about a 'piece?' a 'piece' implying one piece of something bigger? Or is he using the word piece as a pun?...ABH As a musical 'variation,' a possibility to see, if commenced as an alternative, to see if this already good pop electronic ballad can still reach higher heights.
