  • How do you decide when is the right time for you to make Hijrah and move to a Muslim country?
I've interviewed one of the founders of the "Make Hijrah" website Omar Sherrer about this topic from a revert perspective, so hopefully, you'll enjoy our discussion.
Leave me a comment below with your thoughts about this video. I try to respond to all of them.

Language is a real barrier in Turkey especially outside Istanbul, but you can grab the basics in 6 months and manage your daily life. And talking to locals will help you the most to improve your language skills.

Brother I have so many questions for you - can I pay for an hour of your time via chat on Whatsapp? My wife and I are considering making hijrah from Indonesia where there is such kufr and shirk that I am not sure it can be considered a safe place to raise our children. Oppression of Salafi is getting worse and worse, and there is fitnah everywhere, even alcohol, lewdness, smoking, and many other vices just like in the land of disbelief. I have many questions about Turkey, especially if it is safe to practice there.

In Morocco, as in all countries, it takes time to adapt. If you stay for a while, you'll eventually adapt.
Certainly , not everything is as organised, as clean or as fast as in the USA (or Europe).
Admittedly, some of the population has a tendency to westernise (part of the bourgeoisie who idealise the West too much).
But Morocco does have some advantages over the USA (or Europe):
    - Women can wear the hijab without risk (and men can wear quamis) and without risking a racist attack.
    - There are more mosques (with adhan)
    - religion is easier to practise (halal meat, Ramadan, aid festivals, etc.)
    - Life is cheap for a European.
    - it's a safer country (of course, there are bad people in Morocco, as there are everywhere).
    - Unlike some Western countries, some bad things will never be taught to your children in school, even private schools, and you'll never see anything weird in administrative papers (like "gender indeterminate", "parent 1", "parent 2" for g*y couples...). And a child will never say to your child: "I've got two dads or two mums’’ !
    - There is much less tax than in some European countries.
    - There's more sunshine than in the UK.
    -...
Prefer Casablanca or Marrakech if you like city life.
In the beginning that can be quite difficult but over Time , In the long run, you will see that the advantages of living in Morocco outweigh the disadvantages.

Jan you will find this very difficult because you have been raised in the West. Many Muslim countries do not follow the spirit of Islam.

I'm not doing Hijrah :) This is advice for everyone :) Btw. how many non-Muslim countries follow Islam? None. So it's still better. Trust me on this.

people are really not grateful... AstaghfiruAllah
No matter what, muslim countries r better than non muslim , at least you eat anywhere without worrying about alcohol or pork, you don't see people walking naked, your kids won't be exposed to seeing alcoholic and drugs or homosexual
