My favorite album from my all time favorite band. To me, Kamelot is on a Symphonic Metal cloud all their own. You won't go wrong with ANY of their music. Great job as always my friend. Keep up the good work.

The black halo continues the story of Epica, which is a conceptual album inspired by the Goethe's Faust story. Both albums tell the story of Ariel, a man whose desire is to uncover the mystery and secrets of life, and makes a deal with Mephisto in order to get it. So yeah, you should listen to both albums so you can understand the whole story

Thank you my friend. Strangely enough the week I did this reaction I encountered Faust and Mephisto several times.

You opened up the door to a Dimmu Borgir reaction now.

Kamelot, an old time favorite. Saw them twice in the Netherlands with this singer (Roy Kahn). Tommy Karevik took it over.
Kamelot together with Simone Simons from Epica (live) *_"The Haunting"_* : czcams.com/video/IWDALIOzXNk/video.html&ab_channel=kodrister
And/or (live) *_"Forever"_* : czcams.com/video/EqqPYySZnVY/video.html&ab_channel=japaninpoika (great interaction with the crowd)

Such an iconic band. Roy is next level. What I have heard from Tommy I have enjoyed.

If you like Kamelot, you should check out bands like: Gemini Syndrome, Lost Zone, Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, Epica. Etc

@@cavinbardi2375 Yes, Yes, Yes!!! I am literally doing a batch of reactions now. They have included Dimmu Borgir, Home Free, Tommy Johansson, Voiceplay and yet on my way home I listened to Nightwish, The Beach Boys, and a touch of Mozart after a George Strait song. LOL
In 2 weeks my Son and I will be watching Country & Bluegrass Legend Ricky Skaggs Live and hopefully this year we will hit a Metal show or two. No Boxes for us to be contained in.

So if no one else got to it before me. This is part of two albums that are a musical reprisial of the tragedy of Dr. Faust (with some liberties of course) this song is representitive of Arial realizing just how bad he messed up, and the devil/mephisto rubbing it in now that hes caught him. Its close to the protagonists lowest point.
    I adore these two albums.

Try The Great Pandemonium or Solitaire....two of my favorites by Kamelot

And (yes, my final input for today 😉) ..... over a year ago you made a reaction on a song by Ayreon.
So I hope you can find the time to react to this TOP LINEUP OF MANY MUSICAL INTRUMENTS/SINGERS: The Source is the 9th studio album from *AYREON* , a progressive metal/rock opera project by Dutch musician Arjen (Ahr-Yun) Anthony Lucassen, released on April 28, 2017. *_”The Day That The World Breaks Down”_* is a song that features all 11 (quite well known) main guest singers (you’ll be surprised) and is taken from that album. Arjen himself is telling (in subtitles) who the singers are and which instruments are used and by which standards.
Btw. This creative original clip is 13 min. long and I think you won’t regret it !!
