5:14 Enemy zarya going 14-15 vs Flats' 38-7 and saying "tank diff", I want that confidence
As a tank player, I sometimes have better k/d than enemy tank and my teammates still say tank diff after losing. Its usually the teammates with the most deaths which are most vocal too. Many people playing this game are biased to always blame teammates for failures and not look at the stats.
@@mng8680 stats really dont tell the whole story, ive found they mean even less this season than last seasons. Lots of wins where the stats say we should have lost but we won.

But stats do tell a part of it in an objective manner, more reliable than how any individual player feels how the game went based on what they personally witnessed. Much more often than not, the team which won had better k/d and damage based on my experience with hundreds of games. Besides k/d, objective contest time is the next biggest factor. If a team manage to contest objective a long time despite being temporarily outnumbered cause of worse k/d, then it might buy them enough time to take objective the next time they win the fight.
Its a joke.
Even stranger is looking at the scoreboard, blue has positive KDA where Red only had 2 KDAs positive and the rest negative. This is further proof how the scoreboard doesn't tell the whole story, and people have to stop calling it out.
IMO it should have a "reset" for the overall scoreboard every round. It should be pertinent information for that round only, because taking previous rounds into account matter not for the current round. You should be able to view that information, but it should be on another "page" or after the final round of the game. Tabbing should show the current round and its current info. Then we should fix what it shows, but I don't know if they'll ever do that.

Comp is wild, you either roll, or get rolled endlessly and that nasty loss streak debuff is terrible.

Most of my games this season have been super close, I’ve been keeping track of it, idk. I think you just tend to remember the games that you got rolled or you rolled more than close games.

Yeah that sucks In my experience ranked feels very annoying. I have gone on win streaks before then lost one match and dropped by over a whole rank. I don't know if it's just me but it feels terrible to go on a win streak just to lose one match and lose all of that progress in one match

solo queue as any role is horrible - you get a team of average solos, not in voice, against good, coordinated 3+ stacks. WTB true solo-only queue.
im the same but as support............ cant get off of bronze/silver as tank/dps cuz the game keeps pairing me with a bunch of idiots that dont know how to focus target properly

The expected thing shouldn’t even exist it’s so dumb 😞😞 unless the enemy teams ranks are significantly lower than yours then it shouldn’t count towards your percentage

Won a game in overtime last night. We got absolutely steamrolled on defense, stumbled our way to the end on offense, got decently far with our one minute timer and then held off the other team for 5 minutes on their attempt and somehow won. Got nothing for it. Every game is 20 percent for me.
SAMEE. Every game i win, i get no more than 20, usually like 19 or less. Then when i lose, suddenly its -24 or something.
fighting tooth and nail just to see that dumbass 20%. even uphill battles only give 2-3 more percent. insane.
I've won 27/34 games on tank this season and the most I've gone up is 30 (I'm on a 10 win streak right now and just went up 29)

the game is only fun in arcade tbh. ive had a 50/50 game maybe twice ever, you either get rolled or you roll them. and its not fun being either team bc no one likes to be held up in spawn all game and no one likes being able to plow through the team and instantly win. thats what vs ai is for lol

Literally this shit happens. I go on rollercoasters too and I swear OW is the only game that will kick you in the Wrecking Balls one day, while giving you a win streak higher than a Pharah rocket jump the next.
Despite that, OW has those moments. Those small, golden, incredible moments that feel just incredible. Sometimes it's two Rein Chads showing mutual respect, other times it could be entire teams lining up in a conga line and all hopping off the map. Then rarely you become an literal god and wipe away all who stand before you.
That's Overwatch magic and damn if it doesn't round out the sharpness of the bad days.
Blizzard has that effect. People want desperately to have those moments of community loving it with all their heart. But the company doesn't have the passion to allow it to happen more often

This is my experience of late. Last night I played sigma because the enemy was running double sniper, I got 26k damage in 14 minutes absolutely controlling the front line and by the end I faced all sigma counters while my DPS kept chain feeding. This morning I got an email that I am banned for a month presumably because I was getting reported for "throwing".
There is literally 0 reason to play tank anymore, you get 0 help or gratitude and all the blame.
Blizzard would buff the shit out of tanks by tomorrow if they on mass stopped playing. You can't start games without one. Blizzard has no incentive to buff them if tank players allow such a miserable experience
there should be like a forced role in qp so ppl have to play an unfamiliar role once in a while. i main dps/support and i played tank a few times and it was the worst game experience ever. if u werent getting discorded and melted the minute you peek, ur getting slept any time you join the fight

It sucks you cannot carry on tank anymore. I lost a game the other day as Zarya went 38-1 with 17k damage their tank went 18-11 with about 12k damage. But our tracer went 13-19 compared to their teams tracer who went 27-6.
It's like playing out of your mind on tank gives your team the most opportunity to make game winning plays but if they don't there's nothing you can do to overcome that gap on your own.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's suffering from endless losses, makes me glad to know a top 500 is also suffering from this

I was on diamond 1 last season I’m in diamond 5 now and all my games have former GM players it’s rough in this rank
Look at the T500 leaderboard it starts at low to mid masters every role every region

This is caused by the constant tank counterswap and lack of tank carry potential
Tank counterswap honestly barely makes a diference, as long as youre able to perform your role (Like flats did playing DVa VS zarya). But every single role has and impact (Usually a negative one if a player isnt being able to perform his role)
